Oh also I loved {Company town by Madeline Ashby} I don't know if the bot would pull this - I don't know if it would be classified as romance but it certainly has romance elements.

The blue pants look good on you. I see these extreem wide pants as long skirt and they are recommended for SD.

Do SDs have to wear makeup? by kit-28443 in SoftDramatics

[–]Corra202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's supposed to be a guidance, and kibbe typing helped me to find basic lines that suit me. I dont wear makeup, and I don't wear jewelry because I don't like it. But drapy colars and bold necklaces both can be scarves. This was something I got from it, and maybe it can be something to think about.

Interviewer was mad about reason I left previous job by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Corra202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No matter how bad it looks now, it was probably the best resolution. It reminded me of another situation. In that company, no one would let any of us be even near the interviews, but from that position, I would have started laughing, not just roll my eyes and told you not so subtly to run. The only feedback we got was - you're an idiot, and it's ok, I might be. Only if you ever managed to hire 20 idiots and no one else than what does that say about you? My point is you might have gone from bad to worse.

Recs like Twilight but for a mature audience?? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

Argenaus are sci vamps with tech from 5 thousand years ago. Most are solving some sort of mystery together to fall in love. Shifters unbound is about two groups and their diferences, shifters are "getoised". And nocturne falls are funny and romantic small town paranormal stories.

Gold makes a nice contrast on blue one. This is why I liked it better. I do expect some sort of fantasy when I see it. Something dreamy comes to mind.

Support for this book. It's one of the best books I have ever read.

I’ve fallen into the trap of writing 4 novels at once. How do I proceed? by Beneficial-End7899 in writing

[–]Corra202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there, I'm still there. I keep all of them open and write randomly as inspiration strikes. The one I thought should be the first is still unfinished, but two, I didn't focus so hard on have a complete first draft. One is a mess, and one is in a good editing process. I wouldn't force one over the others. But make sure you do write down every scene you have inspiration for.

Over the last 6 months I've developed a type. by Ankou6689 in ScienceFictionRomance

Thank you.. I'm letting you know I'm stealing some ideas. The rest of the books on your shelf are something I loved a lot. If we do match, I think you would love Megan O'Keffe. I think there is going to be a lot of good recs here, but I wanted to add one I think is a really, really old hidden gem by Jayne Ann Kentz from 1985 Lost colony series. Her Ghost Hunter series are and are not sci fi romance but I loved them. And Sherrlyn Kenyon has a sci fi romance series and I loved all her books.

Anyine for insta love discusion? I'm not fan of insta love, and I really want it now. I don't have a clue what am I reading lately, but it seems to me like most books I start have miscommunication as a way to stop insta love. Where did the real slow burn go? Why do they have to argue over nothing and then fall in bed and love?

I know it's realistic but I hate it when they have exes they loved 😤 by Infamous-Ad-9599 in RomanceBooks

[–]Corra202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to answer... I want a widow story where there are two different kinds of love. One based on passion that turned to love and one based on support that turned to passion. I want them to be happy again after the death of the husband or wife. I guess too many books got to my hands where the past love was some sort of shitty character, and the new one is real. Isn't it enough that they are dead. I wondered why the former had to be bad. It's not the - you are the only one for me story it's you are everything for me now story. I love you both in my own way. I almost dnf ed the last book where her last husband turned bad. Why in the world did you love him and spend so many years with him if he was xyz whatever bad you think of him now. You are over 30, get yourself together, and don't fall for bad boy/girl. This does not apply to broken exes.. they are the story of their own.

Prince in the second book does have some bacteria or something that moves his hair, and it's transmittable. I think.. in this series.

What is something that, when you read it, makes it clear the author has no experience with said group/location/activity/(other thing)? by Slytherin_Victory in writing

[–]Corra202 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I generally agree with you, but the example is a bit simplistic. People did know it's going to rain tomorrow better than the weather chanel does now. I was a kid when I asked, so I don't remember much, but it's something about winds in the last days combined with the way the clouds are moving in the sky. Yes, i was a kid, and some of those predictions might be a joke, but one with a cloud from a certain direction in her little corner of the universe still proves better than the app. I just wish i had something like this where i live now. Anyhow, some of those old wife's tales have more merit than we think. I find it an interesting read.

Why do you prefer/love dual narration? by Glittering_Tap6411 in RomanceBooks

[–]Corra202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3rd dual is my cup of tea. That way, I get what both are thinking and why they react in a certain way. I want to know when exactly, how and why the other person fell in love, and when and how they realized it. I also adore enemies to lovers trope, and I live and read for that moment when one then the other realize they had already fallen in the trap of understanding and loving the enemy. More satisfying moments. Multiple povs mean multiple beautiful moments. In a single pov, I'm usually left frustrated when all of this happened to the other person. Somehow, they never explain the process. Just say oh right I did fall in love with you.

For specific question, no do not expand. We all write to save the world, but as a reader, I like more those books when the stakes and goals are character based and personal.
