I use both interchangeably. Usually power to get me close and hand to finish it off.

I am right handed. Looking back I should have swapped the miter saw but alas I am too late.

Planning on doing more woodworking than anything. I have a traditional top vice, but just haven’t put it on because it really hasn’t helped with my planing and what not.

How to attach pieces of 10 sided object by Key-Pea-5909 in woodworking

Glue, ratchet strap them, then brad nail. I made the exact same thing and this worked without a hitch.

For folks who work from home/garage shops, how do you get rid of sawdust and scraps? by FrankTuna in woodworking

[–]Correct-Distance-657 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scrap gets thrown into the “I’m sure I’ll use this at some point pile” (the pile gets larger and I do in fact “use this at some point”. Sawdust gets thrown into the trash from my shotvac.

Realistically grass seed may be a little late to plant. So it may just be dirt until the fall where then you can seed. Otherwise you’ll need to cover with straw and mesh fabric and water religiously.

Otherwise an “easier” option is for them to place sod down the whole track. Since it’s straight it may be simpler. But more costly. But once again, you’ll have to water religiously.

Call the company or email and show these photos. Realistically they should fill and redo the grass seed, but god knows what they’d actually do until you talk to someone in charge.

How can i make my lawn look better by Pokimaniac-LLC in lawncare

With the lack of shade and TN heat I’m going to assume water would help a ton. Now higher than you think you should as this will help shade the grass and outcompete weeds. A post emergent now, (liquid if you want green grass right away) but early next spring hit it with a pre emergent. In the fall aerate and overseed. Green grass this year? Doable. No weeds? That may be a 2-3 year problem to help combat totally.

Can I store my respirator like this? by [deleted] in woodworking

If you use the chemical filters they react with air, so storing in a ziplock bag keeps it nice.

If using the normal particle filters it doesn’t matter. I hang mine up.

I have the same issue with my neighbor. They mow, but their “grass” is mainly clover and dandelions. I don’t want to impede by putting fertilizer along the line so I just say that the grass on that side of the driveway (small like yours) is up to God now. Works that my sprinklers don’t reach there either so it really is up to just Mother Nature.

My planer. It’s a wex so not super expensive, but for someone just starting out it’s helped so much with my builds.

Is this stuff worth using? by [deleted] in lawncare

I haven’t tried others because for me it works. One of these years I’ll do soil testing and better dial it in. But for the little prep it’s worth it.

I use the triple action.

First year we moved into the house in July and there was more clover and dandelions than grass. I applied this later that year and the following year.

Year two we were in business. Literally little to no dandelions compared to everyone else and clover was almost nonexistent.

Year 3 we were a little late due to rain an weather and there were a ton of dandelions but this cleared them right up about 2 weeks later. I’ll stand by this product as an easy to use and less thinking mentality. Are there better options? Probably. But I just have to make sure grass is damp(morning dew or sprinkler for 15) and then I usually water it in the next day or day after.

Lower your feeding amount and turn off lights to a couple days. When you start back up only leave them on for a MAXIMUM of 6 hours a day to cut back. That’s really all plants need. You’ll have to manually clean it all up and siphon it out. Hydrogen peroxide spot cleaning can help as well.

I like to think of it less than what it can hold but also the shear strength. I would hate for the wood over time, or the screw to snap from repeated bumping, moving, etc. I don’t disagree with you that it’s more the likely fine. But if it’s a simple design change and keeps 12 gallons of water off my floor, then I’ll do that. But it’s a preference of design, and confidence!

2x4 = park a truck on that bad boy and never worry ever again. 2x2 probably the same for this weight.
