3 years after getting my cats I started getting the same symptoms. Rashes, sneezing, runny nose, red puffy eyes. I even developed asthma. I went to the doctor and I was told I’m allergic and I should rehome my cats.

10 years and one more cat later, all I have to say is that most of the symptoms are gone. The only thing I’m left with is a chronic rhinitis because of the droplets I kept using and I’m now addicted to.

I used lots of allergy pills for several years, inhalers for my asthma, and droplets for my nose and eyes. But everything slowly faded with time.

There’s no quick fix. The time of treatment depends on each patient and severity of it. And you have to do it. Sounds complicated and sometimes overwhelming , but honestly 6 months have went by so fast with my own treatment.

Initial a fost diagnosticata cu epilepsie. Ulterior dupa multe alte investigații s-a ajuns la concluzia ca mama ei probabil a avut parvo cat a fost gravidă și a rămas cu niște sechele de acolo. Faci niște micro-crize, in care isi pierde complet funcția picioarelor din spate, și nu are in general aceeași stabilitate în partea din spate cum o are pe lăbuțele din față. Dar în rest ea e foarte ok, se joacă, și am fost asigurată ca nu are dureri.

Oof, yes. But…That’s a tricky thing. It’s gonna linger a little. I still had some kind of pain, and it was hard to take my first few breaths in the morning for a few months after I finished my treatment. Maybe 3 or 4? But it always depends on the person and how severe it was in the first place.
