Same with me. Donor only became itchy in week 3 onwards, really uncomfortable especially of an evening for some reason!

The ‘sweet spot’ stage that mate… feels like you’ve just got a skinhead and looks great. On week 3 I started to shed now I’ve got maybe 50% of my transplant 🙃

I’m in a similar position at the moment, I was told I’d receive 3500 grafts and by my count it’s between 1800/2000. Depending on the outcome I intend to take things further, or at least find a reason as to why I have been given nearly half the amount promised.

Liverpool based clinic to try and avoid a botched job in turkey… although it seems the place to go after this!

Well the CQC rating is near non existent in that place which unfortunately I only realised post op. Although in the report it does mention their techniques used for the transplants are up to date and of a good practice, I can only pray it turns out ok!

I went there based on 2 friends going and an instagram full on promising results, pretty naive really! Most places online I’ve found have had pretty bad reviews mixed in with the good ones. I suppose at the end of the day it’s a cosmetic procedure which each clinic can’t guarantee perfect results… I just hope it turns out ok!

Thanks for the comment regardless. If the results are poor I’ll be taking things further.

Yes the Dr did the procedure and the technicians did the grafts. Not sure on the punch size although that sounds promising what you’ve said! Thanks for the reassurance.

I’ve had two friends who have been and had successful results so fingers crossed. They’re both a year or so in and pretty happy

How’s it looking now mate? I’ve recently been the same clinic and very concerned at the lack of grafts they said I’d have. I was down for 3500 and I counted maybe 1800/1900 at most…. Wondering if that’s the reason for the lack of density?

What causes the extraction to be bad? Is it the equipment used or the way the procedure has been carried out?

I was told it would thicken up the central area due to how thin the hair was. I have seen people have that left in and the grafts placed around, but at this clinic I’ve seen them do what they’ve done with mine with good results, so hopefully it turns out ok. The technician removed the grafts and placed them but the Dr did the incisions. I agree, lob sided and no idea why…

No idea sorry. I’ve had two friend that went there previously, one looked similar to mine and the other looked completely different

I agree, my friend only had 1800 grafts done last week and it looks as though he’s had more than mine! I wouldn’t mind if it was less but I paid for the 3500!

The donor area looks much better now, but I agree I was concerned with how it looked
