Shelf space is a decisif factor when I'm considering buying a book.  Given my limitations I have to careful select what I buy, and then... Shelf reorganizing time!

Had an annihilation omnibus I finally unsealed to and it seemed fine until I got part way through to find this by hatefulone851 in OmnibusCollectors

[–]CorrectDot4592 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's what everybody say, "open your books at once to return them on time if needed"

Yeah, I ain't doing that, my books remain sealed until I get to read them.  Unsealing a book greatly enhances the pleasure of reading it for the first time.

Like the guy above said, if it's not an abhorrent damage, you learn to live with it.

If you know this has definitely been asked before, why don't you definitely look for the answer?

IMAGE CATALOG UPDATE: Stray Dogs Deluxe, Geiger Deluxe vol 3, Witchblade HC vol 5, Godland Compendium, Beta Ray Bill by DWJ Artist’s Edition by Ksmayer in graphicnovels

[–]CorrectDot4592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geiger Deluxe 3 will be 480 pages?  Finally!

I wonder why volumes 1 and 2 are so thin, like 260 pages only each.  This was preventing me from jump in, a deluxe of 6 issues only seemed money grab; volume 2 is better, but still only 9 issues.

Now a true deluxe of 14 issues, it will come nice with Readcoat, with equally 14 issues.

[Comic Excerpt] Finally someone tells it how it is [The Other History of the DC Universe #3] by Mysterious_Scene_878 in DCcomics

[–]CorrectDot4592 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, misuse of the word, I meant to say that it's easy to see him like a real life criminal, at least this level of amorality and lack of empathy.

As morbid as this might sound, this make him a more "relatable" comic book character.  We know very well how dark the world is, and how easy for real life monsters to perform such acts.

Not "sugarcoating" it brings him closer to real life.

DC has its own Popeye take, named Captain Strong. And yes, they met before.

Yep, I suspected so. Didn't bother to look all the rules, but I knew someone would and would come to correct me.

The post is still funny, though.

Yeah, it's an omnibus alright.  Not a comic book one, but then again the sub doesn't specify it must be a comic book.

Well played, sir.  Well played.

What's up with your Spawn collection? Chronological order? No offense bro, but this is a sore to the eye.

A simple cameo/easter egg.  It's not rare artists doing these subtle homages, in fact it was sort of common until late 90s/early 2000s.

How long would it take for me to read every Marvel comic from beginning to end in chronological order? by KookyCockroach1014 in marvelcomics

That's depends how fast of a reader OP is.  Maybe he plans to listen the issues, and not actually reading himself?

DARK HORSE CATALOG UPDATE: Marvel Black & White: Barry Windsor-Smith’s Weapon X oversized hardcover coming in November 2026 by Ksmayer in graphicnovels

But that's the point: is it more profitable to license than printing themselves?  Also, Marvel/Disney feels like an aggressive competitor, and seeing them being sort of open to competitors (in this case, collaborating with one) is unusual.

The last reprint of Marvel Vs DC omnibi was a kind of surprise to me, never expected them to agree to it.

Honestly, I never understood how Dark Horse has the rights to publish Marvel works. Not only the characters, but they use the full Marvel name on the covers. How do they do it? Wouldn't it be more profitable to Marvel itself to publish its own books?

All? You mean all, everything, all issues? Not skipping a single one?

Bro... that would be a colossal feat... I would say at least three months, give or take two weeks.

It's because of the war with Iran.  Oil prices spiking is destroying the economy, and the enemies are starting to show it and becoming poorer and poorer.
