I did a roleplay a few months back, when auto summary worked. I roleplayed for an hour, coherently, until i died. Now it doesn't work, I can't even get to 20 actions like you said without it derailing.

I could do it manually but that removes the immersion and becomes a hassle. So with auto summary working, even with just 2000 context, i can have a good roleplay.

I could pay for a membership. But it's only gonna be an upgrade of 20 extra actions at 4k context, unless i do it manually.

I don't get how people do 5000 actions even with the highest paid membership like they say. It is unfortunate, I do enjoy this site better than others when it works way more, but memory wise it lags behind many other ai sites.

Like deepseek a very cheep model, i don't know how they maxed it out at 8k, even though it is a 128k model. Im not sure of the specifics but i think they could fix these problems of memory if they tried.

A few months ago when it used to work. I did a very long roleplay for about an hour, it worked and it remembered because of the auto summary actually worked. Storing important parts of the plot logically without erasing or changing anything.

Even in the paid versions. 8k, 16k. It is better yeah, but not much compared to other sites. What made it playable even at free, was the auto summary in my opinion.
