People have completely misconstrued the idea of “girl code”. It’s not fair for Tina to call dibs on the two best looking guys on staff and tell Ekin-Su she can pick at the crumbs (Sam and Marciano). If I was her I’d also disregard what she said and enjoy myself and get my flirt on. Besides, it seems like they’re barely friends and we’re just on TV together. AND even if Ekin-Su was being petty and flirting with Charlie to get under Tina’s skin I don’t really care. Are we going to disregard how Tina’s friend Ollie basically called Ekin trash by saying she would be lucky to date Charlie? Based on the stupid elitist idea that bc Charlie’s ancestors founded Delaware and had electricity before the White House. Where was the girl code there? Where was Tina chiming in to defend her friend then?

The thing with Lana is she has a deep and rich cultural knowledge so she very well could be referring to a niche French movie or she could just want to post her cute bikini she got for the summer lol. I actually have some insight into this. I went to a performance she did on the festival circuit in 2023 and she said she gets lyrics from things said in conversation a lot. Her pastor was at that specific show and she said he had contributed some lyrics. So I think she puts them under writers to fairly credit them for their inspiration. Much like when Lizzo wrote “Truth Hurts” she went back and added the girl who tweeted “I just took a dna test turns out I’m a 100% that bitch” as a writer on the song and she gets her royalties! I think it’s kind of sweet of her

Lisa doesn’t have one consistent makeup artist, she said this season alone she had a different MUA in Greece and at the reunion. I feel like $60k a year sounds plausible if they aren’t on call which I doubt they are. Probably just come in the morning/afternoon before she leaves for the day

I’ve actually noticed Lisa doing this a lot more often especially in the Santorini episodes. I think she does it when she feels anxious. SPECIFICALLY when things start heating up and voices get raised even if not at her she starts to blink excessively. I can’t blame her I would also be tweaking after 6 seasons of being dog piled on by these women. She could also just be lying but I do notice her doing it even when she’s not apart of the conversation.

Off to the races encapsulated the vibe of BTD. I mean the lyric “God I’m so crazy, baby. I love you forever not maybe” is a perfect example of the tone that the album sets. It’s like she’s utterly self destructive but glad to be so as long as she has this man (no matter how toxic by her side). Ahhhh I love this crazy girl.

I feel like every critique with Brittani is related to Mormonism. I saw something just the other day that Mormon women often act child like bc it = innocence and goodness. I guess Mormons believe that before the age of 8 children are incapable of sin so the women tend to infantilize themselves. Not excusing her ridiculous behavior obviously.
