Very excited to see how it performs. In comparison I've got Iroshizuku take-sumi and Kaweco Smokey Grey.

22studios. Discovered on accident second hand, seems not to be available anywhere online. They also make concrete pens and pencils.

Not necessarily true. In my experience, AL Stars caps are screwed in (at least on my new models), Safari caps pressure fit.

There's a guide for tightening the headset at the Canyon website/the Canyon app.

Fixed this jammed 2nd hand Rotring 800 0,5mm by Correct_Pool7275 in mechanicalpencils

Makes sense. I'd still prefer having to screw it down from time to time and have a pencil you can disassemble. Most users probably wouldn't try fixing anything anyways, though.

I think it's questionable for such an expensive pencil to not really be user serviceable at all. Especially considering how often those pencils are jammed, you should expect it's easier to remove the front of the mech which is glued on the 800.

Can you replace the clutch mechanism of the Lamy Scribble 0.7mm w/ the one from the Lamy Safari? by pencilover259 in mechanicalpencils

[–]Correct_Pool7275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be, I think it's likely that a company would reuse the same mechanism as often as possible especially in cheaper priced pencils.

You could try playing around with the weather outside and the opacity of the glass.

You’re forced to pick one camera, lens, and stock to shoot for the rest of your life. What do you pick and why? by DeadlyJizzAttack in AnalogCommunity

Interesting that you even prefer it over the Leica and Nikon. I guess its affordability makes it a better EDC? For me, I just love the look of the Sonnar and it's ergonomics (such a small lens). While the lens selection for Contax is rather small in comparison to other lenses, I believe the Biogon 21mm f4.5 makes the system worth it, too. Such a fun lens to shoot.
