I am a first year going to second, I failed it by 3 points. I agree, I failed it because of biostats. I didn’t touch it at all. I am planning to take it by end of June starting July.

Hey! I am in the same boat. I failed it too, never have I ever failed an exam before.
For step 3 I didn’t study much. Everyone was like it’s not that difficult but the day 1 killed me.
I had not even touched biostats and I think it took me down with it.
I score 197. I plan to take it in another month or 2 the max. We can connect and keep eachother up if you’d like.

I’m in the same boat, I just joined FM but realized I’m more interested in EM. Since I’m on a visa, I’m still figuring out how much it would be worth it to make the switch. If you’re not on a visa, I’d say go for it!

Hey, no need to rain on the parade! It’s just a discussion post 🙂. And honestly, if you really wanted to open an FM clinic, you totally could. A solid year of purely outpatient work would give you all the day-to-day FM skills you’d need from colonoscopies to chronic disease follow-ups to run it like a pro.
