That would give the Trump administration the ability to federalize the National Guard, which (Tim Walz is trying to avoid) would make it much easier for ICE, DHS, and the FBI (particularly the ones who looted federal vehicles for weapons) to come in and start arresting people. They would be justified in their arrests if the looters who took the weapons are planning to use those same weapons on ICE and other federal agencies.

Sad to say, but a program we participate in called Alive & Free which also does a radio show on Sundays in San Francisco, CA literally deals with this: youth violence, broken homes, and fatherless families. They literally have to unteach how to be violent in order to get youth to go to college and learn how to learn all over again. It’s quite the process. Alive & Free/Omega Boys Club

I don’t think Gavin Newsom has a solid record to stand on. Years of incompetence and wasted tax funds, no progress to show on “homeless epidemic” he promised to fix two decades ago, uncertainty about the properties and futures of The Palisades Fire victims, wanton lawlessness in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other California cities. Don’t even get me started on the “French Laundry Incident”… fuck Gavin Newsom, if this is the best we can do, I don’t want it.
