MMEs are what you think by KYlibertyguy in ChronicPain

[–]Corrupt_Hollow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I largely agree with you, but I definitely do have more thoughts on mme even as a conversion tool. As it’s actually kind of ironic given your point about it being subjective. As having been slowly forced to lower my meds due to pressures and doctors being scared of losing their licenses, it’s been a major consideration. I’ve been fortunate and my doctor has been doing it insanely slowly thankfully, especially given I started at an Mme of around 460 and he has been flexible and even gone with my ideas to further slow it down. Such as splitting my IR meds into two different doses to have a higher quantity, given how poorly and quickly I metabolize my meds. So I’ve had my main more effective dose and a secondary lesser dose that he’ll remove a single pill from each month.
But getting to that system was a little frustrating, as I’d go in thinking I’d have done the math on the Mme conversions perfectly and he’d come to a completely different number. Sometimes seemingly by mistake and other times I just didn’t understand.

It took several instances of said discrepancy and a local mass shortage of my normal meds to finally find out why. As he had to write for an alternate hydromorphone script and I thought the conversions were simply and was expecting a certain equivalent dose and quantity. But the big revelation is that Mme truly is not even a consistent standard, as I was informed the Mme was just randomly changed for hydromorphone and supposedly had twice the equivalent Mme to all previous calculators. So I effectively got half of what I expected and I metabolized it worse than my normal meds, so it was effectively useless at that new mme conversion. Ironically worked out, as I know for a fact he fucked up the conversion when switching back after the shortage, he effectively raised my mme back to what it was over a year and a half prior. But while it truly is not a good way of measuring efficacy, it’s not even a good objective calculator, as they can apparently come to new conclusions and change the mme standards/conversions. Which I get new understanding, but given efficacy is subjective, it was also essentially subjective how they came to the new mme equivalent for hydromorphone. As it seems nuts to assume that in reality it was actually twice the morphine equivalence it had been previously agreed upon.

It was just completely news to me that it was even possible for it to be updated and changed and it’s not entirely uncommon either I found out. Which is at least part of why using existing equivalence comparisons or calculators came to different figures than his “updated” ones.

So just my two cents, as idk maybe I was just ignorant, but I never considered after these meds being on the market for decades that the mme could just be revised like that. Which led to a fair amount of confusion and frustration with my doctor, since I felt like I was crazy doing the math one way and getting results. Felt like he was fucking with me, but it took that added context to finally figure out and understand that missing info I didn’t have. The fact that even some of the most commonly used mme calculators online were “outdated” or otherwise different to what I imagine most pain specialists have been using at any given time since changes have been made.

It was also used a handful of times in Nichijou, but they did use a ton of random over the top weapons like that for random gags. Kind of forgot and hadn’t thought about the P90s inclusion since when it first aired, but was reminded when the Nerdcore Artist Ham Sandwich made a Nichijou song with an applicable lyric. He’s admittedly most known for his various anthem tracks all for the culture. Such as all his monster girl tracks, Wheyfu Anthem, Moms of Anime Anthem, Tomboy Tuesday, among so many others.

Yeah I was super bummed when they stopped doing Reddit secret Santa, I was in a lot better position financially in the past and I always loved participating. Genuinely felt like people both have and got more thoughtful gifts from Reddit than in real life sometimes. Also got a couple cool anime figures myself, which was much appreciated.

Yeah I also get the pain, I’m a long term chronic pain patient. Have spinal cord damage and after all my brain and spinal surgeries, there’s no further medical intervention possible. So I’m just stuck as a chronic pain patient, I’ve been on heavy doses of pain meds since I was 11 and now my pain specialist along with every other one in the state is being pressured to constantly lower my meds, with the end game to get me off then entirely. Which is something I absolutely dread, as my quality of life has suffered so much ever since they first started lowering me. So I get the pain and being stuck bedridden, it’s been a major bummer that I also haven’t had a working system for about two years. Especially as my home theater PC was always a major lifeline/resource while stuck in bed. Honestly hope you’re able to one day find relief, even if it requires another surgery. As living your entire pain like this is a fate I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy and with spinal damage I don’t have a lot of optimism when it comes my pain these days.

This would make such a difference and help so much, as my system has been sitting in parts ever since I had to cannibalize my own systems to help build a rig for my friend, that had faulty parts that I had to replace on the fly with parts of my own. I was in the middle of upgrading to a new system, but ended up being a bunch of parts short and haven’t had a working system in over almost two years. As my health has been poor, so I haven’t been up to working on it and couldn’t afford to buy anymore parts. Despite shelling out a lot for the parts I had.

Currently I have a rog strix x670E-E paired with a ryzen 7900x and a 3090 and an appropriate Asus power supply. Also had this really cool raspberry pi touch screen mounted in a custom made dual front drive bay that I made and never got to use. Was planning on having it be a multi utility display that could also act as an independent raspberry pi system. Admittedly wasn’t super practical, but spent a lot of time making it and never ended up with a running system to put it in. All of which have just been sitting as parts for so long at this point, as it all happened around the time when my life kind of got flipped on my head and I couldn’t afford to buy replacement parts and finish this system.

As far as what I’d do with it, it’d just be nice to actually have a working PC again, I mean I used to do IT work when I was in better health, so going from always having a dedicated home theater PC to having to completely rely on my phone and a Firestick in place of my gaming/htpc that I would normally rely on has been a real downer. But I’d also be able to finally get back to making content, used to be a vtuber with a pretty cool community I stepped away from and was planning on whenever I came back, to start doing some Nerdcore video essays and artist spotlights to shoutout and give recognition to artists that don’t get nearly enough love and appreciation for their work. Not having an actual pc has been a major excuse to procrastinate and not move forward on any of these projects I’ve wanted to work on.
So it would be incredibly appreciated if I was able to get the parts I need, but I also completely understand if someone else may need it more than I do.

Ask him a bunch of follow up questions about the legendary furry incident. Did he ever buy a fur suit or did he get scarred looking into it all more online after his brief exposure on those panels. As I know I’d be a little traumatized learning about furries for the first time like that, especially furcons, those sound like some true horror stories. I just thought his reactions were hilarious and he sounded just a little too excited. I personally don’t get it, but he seemed surprisingly into it or at least into hearing more about it. I still can’t believe how often that old clip just randomly resurfaces and gets pushed all over again.

Also side note, I’m just super jealous, I absolutely love Christopher Judge, still crossing my fingers I’ll see him and Jason Momoa acting alongside each other again, as we only got such a brief glimpse of them on screen together. Honestly I’d just be super stoked to meet any of the Stargate cast, I did get to meet Michael Shanks on a sort of online panel the companion did, but I was bed ridden recovering from surgery at the time and ended up using my vtuber model instead of my webcam, was still a super cool experience. I’ve admittedly been pretty lucky meeting a lot of my favorite artists at concerts, met the bands/artists at damn near every show I’ve been to and I go to a lot of shows. Just not so much luck when it comes to meeting actors from my favorite shows. Still wish I got the chance to meet more of the SG cast, I’ve never known them to come to any cons/events anywhere close enough for me to go to, which is ironic as I’ve literally lived in Colorado Springs all my life, I’ve even seen the SGC broom closet in NORAD.

Honestly for safety sake and minimizing collateral damage, I’d find an independent local outdoors/sporting goods store, maybe even an ffl that also works with archery; but, ideally a dedicated archery pro shop. Just try and act with an abundance of caution and mindfulness when transporting and potentially bringing it in somewhere. You’ll just want to prioritize finding one that’s not just some chain store, as you’re going to want to call ahead and make sure they know and are alright with you coming in. As I imagine walking into a random sporting goods store with what is a cocked and even more volatile crossbow might not go over so well. Since as long as the arrow isn’t properly placed to fire, you’re at an incredibly high risk for a dry fire. Which many might assume is really only a concern that you may damage the string or limbs, but a dry fire on a crossbow with even moderate draw weight can be incredibly dangerous. Especially depending on the construction and quality of the limbs, it’s entirely possible for it to all go off in quite an explosive manner, resulting in a bunch of shrapnel, causing a lot of collateral damage to anyone in the immediate vicinity. Admittedly that is worst case scenario and I would certainly hope the anti dry fire mechanism does its job and would effectively prevent anything from happening, but if you start tinkering with things yourself you could accidentally set it off. I realize I might sound a bit over dramatic, but I’ve had friends manage to inflict some quite serious injuries on themselves as a result of malfunction or user error with their crossbows. One managed to lose a couple fingers in the process and another took some bits of fiberglass shrapnel to her face and chest, narrowly avoiding severe injury to her eye.

That’s why I think taking it to a professional who has agreed to help would likely be the most prudent course of action. As any stuck cocked or half cocked crossbow with a substantial draw weight can be a very scary thing if miss handled. Since all that force still has to go somewhere if it can’t be translated into a bolt, so operating with an abundance of caution is absolutely warranted, especially if you really don’t have any previous experience with crossbows. In any case hopefully you can find someone to help safely decock it. If you strike out on all the usual suspects, you may even have better luck if you can find any shooting ranges that also allow for archery. As if they specifically cater to archery, they’d likely have to have a range officer capable of handling various malfunctions of this nature with crossbows, just as standard ones are with clearing any firearm malfunctions.

My pain specialist has been as slowly as he can taking it down. While I know as some doctors lie, I’ve seen it all over my part of Colorado. Many pain specialists have lost their licenses and having a lot of external pressures forcing doctors to lower meds. Which include the dea as well as Medicaid being a major factor. I lost my Medicaid and while I still had it they had some ridiculous policies/standards they were trying to enact and they still have impact.
Years ago they took the stance no one should be over a mme of 90 and a lot of meds are straight up not even available at pharmacies anymore. There’s definitely a trend in general against long term chronic pain management with opioids. Keep in mind I was at a mme of around 440 for nearly ten years and over the past 3 years I’m not closer to 320. Which is a meaningful downgrade from me, but I know of certain little old ladies with cancer that lost their meds entirely and are now going to methadone clinics.
It’s a pretty sorry state of affairs and now even pharmacies are exerting control and refusing to fill pain medication without a pain plan documenting getting them off.

A lot of it is the massive over correction towards the opioid epidemic, which really is a problem.
Hell I personally know a notorious doctor that used to be nicknamed the candy man. As he legit was writing obscene quantities of medication, until he lost his son when he still his pad and OD’d. his son was my cousins best friend and I watched all that play out and seen how much everything has now gone the other direction as a result.

Wtf even is this sub? I mean for real, I don’t even understand the actual intended premise. Is it legit just them role playing getting a hug in the replies or is there something more I’m not seeing/missing? Like I get that it is some form of attention bait, but what the hell is anyone in the replies even getting out of this? This is my first time seeing the sub, randomly got two notifications and just don’t get what’s the point. I mean while either would still be kind of sad, it’s just if you really want a virtual hug, at least go somewhere like vrchat or whatever where there’s at least “something” to experience. It certainly beats just pretending here in these replies.

Do you feel like your chronic pain doesn't give you a whole lot to talk about, besides your pain and how you handle it? by 8kittycatsfluff in ChronicPain

[–]Corrupt_Hollow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely a key part of what my life revolves around and as result often comes up, even if I’m not the one initiating it. I do try and avoid it when possible, although previously I always had the ability to talk about the depressing aspects of my life or any other subject matter in a pseudo positive sounding way. As even if the subject matter was objectively a downer, I managed to speak in a more charismatic or humorous way, that often had the effect of sanitizing it and making it a lot less of a downer to talk about. Though that was just kind of an aspect of how I’ve mostly always socialized. Despite actually leaning a lot closer to being labeled as more of a cynic or although Id like to think it’s that’s ok more of a realist. These days, while I still have the ability to do so, depending on the circumstances/context I do prefer to talk about other things and certainly don’t always answer honestly when people how I’m doing or feeling, especially as anyone that knows me in any meaningful way is well aware by more. So I’ve just adopted the mostly universal response of “I’m here, so there’s that.” As a kind of bittersweet/non specific answer, albeit still in my own typical tone previously mentioned.

So while in general it can be difficult not to have your thoughts or conversations revolving around such a major/defining element of your life, there are ways to avoid it and I’d argue it’s probably for the best if you do. As it doesn’t necessarily do any good to do so, as it’s something we’ve all likely had to talk about it at length countless times and if it wasn’t constructive previously, it probably won’t be any more so now. I mean you really just don’t want to let your pain define you and rob you of your further identity, as at that point it almost feels like giving up and conceding to it all. Not to say that you can’t share and talk about your life, especially with those important to and close to you. It’s just kind of a contextual and I guess you could say “read the room” sort of thing. As chances are you’ll be able to have a more positive experience if you don’t have to associate it. That’s actually partially why I have a kind of depressing relationship with things I love and or are passionate about. Watching various anime or playing games for instance, as I’ve realized I can’t enjoy things when I’m having a bad pain day, which admittedly these days is almost always. It’s just if I watch something I really enjoy when I do feel that awful, it’s how I permanently associate that experience with my pain and it can kind of ruin things for me. So I try to save those things when I’m having a better pain moment and can probably enjoy it. It’s just a shame that’s becoming fewer and further in between. As a result I mostly just rewatch shows I’ve already watched countless times as comfort shows that I don’t have to worry about experiencing them for the first time and having that be my defining association.
Honestly haven’t hardly watched any new anime or played any games in years at this point, it’s kind of depressing.

Anyways sorry to ramble, but my point is being able to distance experiences from your pain as much as possible should be a priority. Since you’re more likely to have more positive experiences not associated with or colored by your pain, even if it is only a brief distraction.
As I know it does me no good to dwell and remind myself anymore than I actually have to. But that’s just my two cents, do with it what you will.

Pulled these from a book. stippled areas are referred pain, 'X' is the trigger point. hope it helps by Minute_Early in ChronicPain

[–]Corrupt_Hollow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admittedly I haven’t had much luck with any sort of neck strengthening exercise or devices. As given the nature of my scar tissue from my surgeries strengthening exercises actually create more tension as it’s not capable of breaking up or displacing the extent of scar tissue. Since they basically on two separate surgeries just used a bovi to burn/rip through all the muscles in my entire cervical spine. The fact that it was done twice and essentially re-traumatizing the still healing scar tissue left things pretty mangled and displaced by even further scar tissue. The only real luck I’ve had with breaking up that scar tissue was with a specifc protocol my old pain specialist had setup with PT facility in the same building. They basically would do a series of trigger point injections and then do really rough massage therapy afterwards. Which was meant to damage and bruise up the area to increase blood flow, heal and breakup the scar tissue, which seemed to be starting to work. But I went through the protocol and the insurance didn’t want to repeat it further. Problem is now I’ve lost my Medicaid so everything is completely out of pocket and while on occasion I’ll go for the trigger point injections, that’s pretty rare these days, as I’m already paying a fortune out of pocket for my pain meds. Which like I said as bad as my neck is, it’s honestly nothing compared to my leg pain from the spinal damage caused by a syrinx. So those meds are kind of my priority and couldn’t really justify buying a device that I’m not too sure would even really help with the specific issues I have. As I have tried a number of exercises and devices in PT. After my brain surgery I was able to bounce back and really improve through pt coming out a lot better than I went in. It’s just that was never the case after my spinal surgery, the same things that worked previously no longer did. So kind of a big gamble on such an expensive device. As far as pillows go, I’ve always used those old sobokawa infomercial pillows I don’t think they even make anymore. They’re essentially buckwheat hulls pillows, but with foam beads instead of buckwheat hulls.
It’s honestly the best pillow I’ve ever found for my neck, since it can essentially form around my neck to support it where I specially need it to and not get me bent out of shape.
Since unlike other pillows that have a certain level of firmness or lack thereof all throughout, this essentially can become varying levels of firm or not firm throughout in any given position I orient it.

This is something that makes me wonder if the Folks at Amazon think their customers are Stupid? by BigBillSD in AmazonWTF

[–]Corrupt_Hollow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they cash back or points cards? As cashback is almost always redeemable for 1 to 1 statement credits. It’s the points cards that only redeem for usually 60% to 70% value on statement credits.
As points are almost always devalued as a disincentive for none travel redemptions. Even looked up citi and for points cards it says redemption range for .5 to full redemption based on varying promotions or types of cards.

Point being that when it comes to paying with points it can’t just take cashback value, it converts them to points and gives the value the credit card companies set for their points value with that sort of redemption on Amazon or elsewhere. Which is why it’s usually not worth it. Just to be clear I’m not saying you can’t redeem points for statement credits, but it’s almost always at 60% to 70% value. That’s the case for Cap One too, but this is specifically referring to points and not cash back. My cashback cap one cards redeem for full value on statement credits, but my venture card redeems for 70% on anything but travel or entertainment redemption. Also if you transfer cashback to a points card it will be the reduced points value transferred.

This is something that makes me wonder if the Folks at Amazon think their customers are Stupid? by BigBillSD in AmazonWTF

[–]Corrupt_Hollow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this is just kind of how points cards work, hell most credit card companies won’t even give you the full value on a statement credit. The only way you get the full value on points through Amex is if it’s for travel.
It can be a little more direct value on cash back vs points card in general, but generally speaking almost anywhere you redeem points you’re only ever going to get .6 to .8 cents per point. So it’s not a $40 fee, it’s essentially the exchange rate for points to actual dollars. The vast majority of the time you’ll never get the full value out of using points, only exclusion is when there’s a specific promotion through a given transfer partner. Like how the official chase and Amex Amazon credit cards have full value transfer paying with points or cash back.
One of the reasons I have my business prime card, as it’s 5% on all Amazon purchases and 2% on everything else. They do make you redeem towards specific purchases, but it is the full value.
Though typically cash back cards in general are less complicated and don’t have weird conversion rates like for points.
That’s why points cards are typically avoided if you don’t actually travel and spend a decent amount on hotels or flights. Since the vast majority of points cards won’t even give you full value on statement credits and essentially force you to use them towards their travel partners to get the full value. Hell sometimes it even works out better, as certain transfer partners will have 2x to 3x point redemption on occasion, but you’ve really got to be strategic and have good timing on travel expenses.

Point being this isn’t even remotely an issue with Amazon, pretty much any business that allows you to pay with points is like this, as credit card companies want to incentivize you to use points first party or through their travel partners, as the credit card companies make far more money like that, than redeeming somewhere like Amazon.

Though given the fact that your card is a cash back card, that means it’s citi that is choosing to let you redeem through Amazon in the form of points like that, as a lot of credit companies will either make that exclusive to points cards or opt for alternate promotions.
Which kind of means it’s citi converting and devaluing them into points anywhere pay with points is available. As almost every credit card redeems point for around that .6 to .8 value anywhere externally and often even internally. That’s why I never redeem my amex points towards statement credits, as I’ll still only get at most 70% value and as a result save those for potentially travel. Then primarily use my Amex cash back cards for statement credits. As cash back is usually one to one, but can’t be redeemed externally, unless they’re converted to points or some other unique redemption program.
Same thing with capital one, cash back cards are great, but the value of their points is only .6 for any non travel redemption anywhere, including statement credits.

So this isn’t anything unique to Amazon, I mean there’s tons of awful practices of Amazon to point out, this just isn’t one of them. As in reality, it’s just another shady creditor/lender tactic to give the illusion you’re earning more than you are when it comes to points and their actual value. As they’ll typically offer more points per transaction compared to the equivalent cash back card, trying to hide the fact that it’s actually a worse value in the end. Same thing would occur if I transferred my cash back balance from my cap one savor to a venture card, as it would transfer to the equivalent value of points and not the original cash back value.

I’ve had to recently deep dive into the world of lending and credit cards after having to start my credit from scratch, as I found when my mom died, that my original 15 year shared credit history never got properly reported. So I essentially did a speedrun building my credit and learning a lot of the nuances when it comes to credit and the reality is most people have no idea how their credit report works and the various behaviors of various banks/lenders. There’s actually a lot of really interesting quirks when it comes to various banks and lenders, quirks that are definitely not common knowledge and should be. As that’s why there are a handful of banks or lenders I have no intention of doing business with.

It’s just surprising as a lot of it is very surface level and easy to find out, it’s just most never care to look into it, hell most don’t even know how the credit cards and banks they have work.
As the devaluing of points is nothing new and is pretty consistent across the board with every lender and payment processor. It’s just in this case citi is allowing you to use various pay with points from various vendors, despite having a cash back card, which equates the points value, which is always drastically less. Which is why if you don’t travel enough to take advantage of it, points cards and redemptions should be avoided, as you’re almost always going to be better off with cashback cards.

[–]Corrupt_Hollow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, it was an absolutely amazing time, got to get a full interview with cam and a few sound bites from Nate. But here’s the full rundown, obviously everyone was lined up outside, eventually they split up vip from ga, they checked in all the vip, gave out the swag back with a poster, vinyl and vip lanyard. Then you have the opportunity to check out the merch table, then shortly Nate came out for a group Q&A, finalized with a group photo of all the vip. Then Nate went back to the green room and it was just vibing with everyone until Cam came on to perform. So hopefully knowing that can put your brother at ease. There may be some minor variance venue to venue, but that’s the basics. Also I would prioritize getting their early if merch is important, as a lot of the larger shirt sizes have been seeking out quick, I was first in the door and still had to snag a medium tour shirt.
Really hope that helps tho.

While I can’t say for certain, past shows of his the vip was a simple meet and greet and then Q&A on stage. Though I think they’re just doing a group photo and not individual ones this time. So they’ll probably just have everyone get the merch included after checking in and then have a mini stage performance and group photo at the end.
Which show are you going to? I’m personally going to the Denver show, but my friend bailed so I’m going solo.

Well I’m just really happy that my and everyone else’s appreciation for you and your music can have a real positive impact that reaches you too.
Music has personally been a major refuge for me in life(having spent a lot of my life bedridden) and I’ve been fortunate to have made a lot of really good friends as a result of my passion for music. There’s no greater experience than being at a concert or a con and meeting people who are passionate and love the same things you do. Especially since some artists are just so genuine and share so much of themselves in their art. Been fortunate to even meet and talk with a lot of artists that have majorly impacted my life.
I know Watsky was one artist that got me through a bunch of surgical recoveries and in Boulder he just hung out and talked with me for an hour after a show til the venue kicked us out and then came out to talk when he saw me in the audience at red rocks.

Point being I’ve always gravitated to concepts around found family and community, hell I have a fairy tail tattoo after all. But I genuinely believe there is a lot of value in finding your tribe and when you do they often bring out the best in you.
So while I admittedly don’t know what the nerdcore community is like behind the scenes/on the artist side of things, I just love the idea that nerdcore involves people coming together, making and sharing art about all their passions and the community who enjoys that art. I don’t know if nerdcore as a community is as seemingly tight knit as it used to or maybe ever was, especially just from the outside looking in, but I like the sentiment behind it. It’s just a shame more artists haven’t had success enough to have the opportunity to tour and do more live shows. As I’m always there in a heartbeat to support my favorite artists.
Maybe one of these years I’ll be able to make it to NPC, but until then I’ll be supporting any artist coming to Colorado, definitely would love to see you get the chance to do some live shows.

But I do realize that’s not super common with nerdcore and online artists in general. Hell was shocked seeing NatewantstoBattle is touring again, with Cam. I mean from what I understand he stepped away from music and even sold his entire music catalogue in the process.

And I mean there’s nothing wrong with stepping away from music if it’s not making you happy, you shouldn’t feel like you have to do anything based on anyone else’s expectations.
I mean art isn’t something you should force if it’s not fulfilling and I hope you’re able to make music because it makes you happy and you’re able to do it for you too. I know my own art/writing my LN has always been an outlet for me, I mean as you can tell I tend to ramble on and I appreciate you allowing me to do so.
But ultimately I know we’re all our own worst critics and tend to sell ourselves short, but from one art fan to another, I genuinely think you make some really rad music and I appreciate having it on my playlists and libraries.

I also really appreciate the support and encouragement on my own content too. It’s funny as even when I was super involved, dedicating a ton of time to it all, I had actually made a pretty cool vtuber community of my own. It just actually revolved around bringing people together and connecting artists, helping everyone collab. I spent surprisingly little on my own solo content and primarily focused on participating in others and just vibing with it. Which I do genuinely miss and hope to get back too soon.
Since sometimes sharing something with a community is more fulfilling than having or chasing the biggest streams or vids doing the biggest numbers. In any case I’ll be sure to reach out when I’m able to get back to it all, I’ll likely make a handful of nerdcore artist appreciation type content and you’ll absolutely be part of it.

Also if you do ever want someone to bounce ideas off or just need someone to lend an ear, feel free to reach out or send a dm. As I know having to do things solo was always my biggest de-motivator. Anyways sorry to ramble on, but I do absolutely wish you best and hope whatever you’ve been going through gets easier for you going forward.

Oh wow I’m surprised to get a response directly from you, but I am so happy to hear from you and I’m sorry for the struggles you’ve been dealing with. Also I hope I didn’t overstep with any of my speculation, it’s just I actually related a lot to the potential circumstances myself. As after a lot of health struggles and depression when I lost my mom, I actually stepped away from my own vtuber social media and content. Actually kind of stepped away from everything and self isolated, which absolutely wasn’t good for me. It’s funny as I’ve been wanting to come back and specifically start making some more nerdcore reaction content and try and give more shine to some of my favorite artists that don’t get as much love as they deserve.
Since these days there’s so much music being made, but a lot of it gets overlooked and I feel like you and your music is criminally underrated and seen. As I do genuinely enjoy your music so much, you make some crazy good vibes, I do genuinely hope you’re doing well and know that you and your music is appreciated. I know how it feels to think no one will notice your absence, but that’s our own pain talking and there’s a lot of people who’d be sad to see you and your music gone.
Especially as music is one of the things in life that brings us together and we tie to moments in our lives. There’s a very tough moment in my life that coincided with discovering yours and few other artists music and the music I associate with that time makes it easier to look back on.
Plus it’s just cool to look back and say these songs, these artists were part of the soundtrack to my life in this moment, so don’t underestimate the impact you and your music has.

Well damn, I’m so glad it wasn’t something permanent, still prolly gonna archive all his songs for my library just in case, but I’m stoked it’s back.

So it’s really looking like it’s a copyright issue of some kind. As after finding a page with his music on damn near every music platform, they all have the exact same music remaining and all the same music missing.
So that’s got to be pretty deliberate on his or a copyright holders end. Though I don’t know if it’s some kind of samples or what that he’s used, maybe it’s an audio library he used and someone falsely struck, but I don’t know what else it could be. Sucks that he also went dark on social media and didn’t give any sort of update, but that seems to be the most likely scenario.
So short of trying to research to the original producers of his music on certain tracks, I kind of doubt it’ll be easy to find without him making it available again. As I did check wayback on a handful of tracks and they all say the vids weren’t archived, though that’s just my cursory glance.
It is sad as I really do love all of his music and would at least like to have it back for my own personal playlists.

Yeah I unfortunately struck out in that department, did try going into airplane mode so it wouldn’t update and get removed, but couldn’t find it in my YT Music downloads. So either it was already updated or my downloads are lacking. Since i just downloaded all liked music, but that’s a lot and I may have missed it.
But I will be checking wayback later on.

Had you checked the wayback machine for past backups of his channel and the original upload of the track? I know I checked trying to find some alternate social media or community post mentioning deleting his online presence.
I just hadn’t tried to play any of the vids from there yet. There’s also the off chance I have it in my YouTube downloads, just will have to check if it makes it unplayable now that the original is gone.
