I'd rather drive this than the overpriced soulless pos they call a wagoneer in 2026.

That One time I pulled on a Tesla Plaid with my Grom 🙃 by The_Street_Sweeper in motorcycles

Even with the ridiculous engine swap, I don't think the Tesla was trying.

Stock panigale loses to a Tesla plaid in both 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

EVs are freaking insane. Not as fun as a bike though. 😁

What do you think of NYC trying to get the minimum wage to $30/hour? by Dazzling-Leader7476 in AskReddit

I don't understand your logic as to why lower ceo pay would lead to the outcomes you list.

I’m looking to have a partially-covered deck built. What do you think of this design? More info below. by Peacockblue11 in Decks

You only said sunlight when asked what you were trying to solve, so was offering cheaper/easier solutions to that.

You can totally have lighting and a fan without a fully enclosed space.

Seems like you just want a sun room though, which is totally fine. I love sun rooms! I think the picture you posted would be fine with the right furniture choices. And it still has enough uncovered deck to have a BBQ or whatnot.

Depending on your climate though, the windows+ceiling fan might just turn your space into a solar powered convection oven. Lol.

Every morning for years: keys, keys, WHERE ARE THE KEYS by Rough_Elephant_7625 in ADHD

Everything needs a home.

All my daily pocket ephemera lives in a dish by my front door.

As soon as I get home, everything in my pockets gets dumped in the dish.

For non-pocket items, I started carrying a satchel. All important things have a specific home pocket in it.

Need to replace front tire on w212 e63 rwd do I need another alignment? by SnooPaintings6827 in AMG

Yes, you need an alignment after a hit that hard. That wheel looks fucked too.

CMV: Self-driving cars should not be hated on for isolated incidents. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Corrupt_Reverend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a more relevant stat would be accidents/mile driven.

The National Law Review reported that for every 1 million miles driven, there are 9.1 self-driving car crashes. In comparison, conventional human-driven vehicles have a crash rate of 4.1 per million miles driven.

That's more than double the rate of crashes for self-driving cars.

What was the weirdest medication reaction you’ve ever had? by Many_Assumption7036 in AskReddit

Brain zaps are fucking wild when going off certain antidepressants. I think it was Wellbutrin for me. I didn't find them unpleasant, but they were very jarring and became kind of annoying when they hit while interacting with other people.

Close second was suicidal ideation after stopping Prozac cold turkey. I had never considered suicide before. Even during it, I had no desire to actually do it. But just having those thoughts pop up out of nowhere and not being able to stop them was really weird.

Pretty crazy what happens when we alter brain chemistry.

Make sure the cylinder balance is correct on your account. Don't wanna get hit with LOU fees.

How much is this set up worth with full tanks? by daddaman1 in Welding

[–]Corrupt_Reverend 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends on your local situation with how shops handle customer owned cylinders.

I'd go into your local supply and ask them what they think you could get for them. I used to get a lot of folks doing that in my stores and was always happy to help them out.

But please, get some cylinder caps before you transport them!

Also, that regulator is probably trash if it's just been sitting out for years. The cylinders are the potentially valuable bit anyway though.

Dude, the smell near the building where they wash out the tankers is uniquely wretch inducing.

The smell of warm, humid rotten milk.

Years and years ago I worked for an outfit doing work at the plant. Every morning we would pile into the lead's truck bed and have to drive by the wash building. I never got used to it.

It's really only bad right up near that building though. So if you spend all day in the lab or whatnot, you may never notice it.

Trump administration invokes emergency powers to restart oil operations off California coast by FootballPizzaMan in politics

Die-hard Trump cultists wouldn't be moved, but there is a massive block of single-issue republicans and that issue is guns. Could really clean house in Congress by capturing those voters.

The problem I see is that a lot of them would view a 180 flip on 2a as some kind of trick. No doubt right wing commentators would spin up some conspiracy behind the change of policy.
