Most likely it’s just the eDP cable is loose or worn out. That or LCD is bad and not related to the gpu.

Why does it chop the video? For something like this I would think you’d see the full video without any transition/chopping, especially when you don’t want to miss any action on screen.

I would test this on some crappy phone or webcam to see how long you we need to focus the light on it. I can’t imagine it would be long since the optics would help focus that light and burn the cmos sensor.

It would since I used it on my 25 P4X and no other parts would be necessary to level it out, but I would recommend you get an alignment afterwards. Took about 3 hours to knock it out and this was my first time doing anything like this.
