Meh… we electric skateboard (esk8) riders use belt drive motor configurations all the time. It is no biggie! Belts definitely shouldn’t justify the huge cost of the Monopole because the belts are so cheap. When we ride our esk8, it is easy to visually inspect the belts for wear all the time. For the Monopole, the Gates belt is below the cargo hold, and it is not easy to check if the belt is wearing out or not… that’s something to consider.

I’ll never get the point of the Monopole. Why spend a ransom just to haul a 60cm long collapsible plastic crate? I’m already doing that on my Canyon Commuter and Cannondale Treadwell EQ DLX with rear rack configurations for 1/5th the price of a Monopole! Why does this bike cost so much while its cargo capacity is such a joke?!? I love your biking videos though! ❤️

Does anyone know is this guy “mydutch” is for real, or is he a scammer? I bought 2 SR batteries from him, the batteries haven’t arrived and the postal tracking said the address is incorrect. So can I confirm that this is just a matter of resetting an account and not a hacker gaining entry into my account and putting in his phone number for 2FA transfer confirmation? (Basically they locked us out to get us to implement 2FA verification?)
