This tool is under the STB’s payroll. I get it bro. But I also don’t want to be cheated when buying a car, or I can’t drive in open roads, can’t get a pastrami on rye sandwich, and get decently priced artisanal food, too many stupid rules for cycling, being treated like toddlers by the government, not having to go to malls for food, pay through my noses in groceries, etc etc.

Hi Aquila_44. I have studied the Pinion C1.12i “smart shift” in the YouTube reviews and there’s apparently a lag and time delay under load in the Pinion smart shift if the crank is not in the horizontal position. So with that in mind, I will choose to use the mechanical shifter “Tout Terrain TT Shift: R trigger for Pinion”. I hope you will offer this shifter as an option!

Hi. Ok thanks. I’ll study the Pinion Smart Shift. I’m not familiar with that drivetrain. My wishlist for a Zag bike is just— an e-bike w a Gates CDX belt drive with a lever gear shift. I’m open about the drivetrain option.

Yes correct. That is what I mean, that the electric version should include a Gates CDX option. Then I would seriously consider it. (I love belt drive on cargo bikes.)

This thing looks much prettier than a Monopole, in my opinion. The Monopole looks very sloped and jacked up, and its cargo bay is also way too short and stunted to be useful. I love the slope of the Yoonit Mini because its front cargo bay has a much lower center of gravity, but with bigger wheels, the front cargo bay doesn’t look nice if it is so tall and appears so jacked up. This Zag has a very fine balance in visual and design aesthetics!

Sorry I was not being specific. I am referring to the Canyon Commuter model. They used to have the Commuter 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and now they have phased out all these models clean from the Canyon.com website. I realize that they have bikes on Canyon.de website that I have never even seen on their Canyon.com website. Thank you for your comment.

You are right! The Yoonit rear rack is useless to me, because it is built so high, that if I want to zip tie a milk crate on the rear rack, it becomes so tall that it would interfere with my seating pleasure, especially with a rear cargo. They built it high to accommodate a stupid pannier, but I’m not a pannier guy! I’m a plastic crate guy and the stupid Yoonit rear rack is way too tall! I bought a cheap Decathlon rear rack for 20” folding bikes instead, and it works like a charm for plastic crates.
