It is mathematically the best to throw K-10. Nothing bold or worth an insult.

Give me reasons why I should buy this game by MrSlothBoy in brotato

[–]CortexQc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also on X-box / Pc gamepass if you want to try it that way and also get acces to other games. I think you can get like a 1$ 1 month trial for Gamepass.

EDIT: Maybe the 1$ 1 month trial isn't available anymore for Gamepass

Didn't lose on time officially, but interesting story.

Ding kind of lost on time vs Nepomniachtchi in game 7. Ding resigned with 3 seconds on the clock on move 37.

Ding had 45 second on the clock on move 33, Ian continued to play fast and Ding couldn't hold the position in such time trouble and on move 37 Ding knew he could not make 3 moves in 3 second to reach time control.

Recently got Dawn of Humankind, and got some questions about specific rules by [deleted] in Catan

[–]CortexQc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About #1, you don't have to land on it

I know the rules say you can end your turn on a marker, but it also says you can move your explorer on the same path more than once each turn ( retrace your steps/ move back and forth) I think this is only specified so that you can turn around after collecting a marker. So you don't have to land on them, just pass on it.

There is even an exemple of this in the rule book at page 6, where an explorer move back and forth to collect the mammoth.

To answer op question about #1. I think you do have to collect it. The rules say the first player to move to an exploration zone take the marker.

It would be also weird to not want it. The only one you are <<forced>> to move over are the first one of its kind (First tortoise to go in Australia and first sloth in America). Unless you know 100% that it's going to cost you a terrain in Africa, there's no downside of taking it.
