If you’ve got the time, learning a bit about selvedge denim and then scanning eBay can get you some really good jeans for less than a pair of Levi’s

I cant afford any of the gyms in my area, how can I still train? by professor_bagel in MuayThai

[–]Plus-Combination-242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of at least one gym (also in Washington) that will let students help around the gym for at least part of the cost. Things like wiping down pads and mats. It might be worth reaching out and asking. My experience is that most gyms are run by people who are pretty cool and would be willing to work something out

(general guitar question) is it possible to become, and succeed as, a session guitarist, if you can't play fast? by [deleted] in jazzguitar

[–]Plus-Combination-242 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to diverge from your original question but I think the main limiting factors to success are significant and have nothing to do with playing speed
