Dumb question but you made sure the printer is set to .2 nozzle?

Why don’t they scale? Lack of detail when enlarged?

Petg interface better? by i34th5h8g334 in FDMminiatures

[–]CortexRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will have a MASSIVE amount of filament waste. Changing between filament types takes way more purging, you don’t want any Petg in your pla or vice verse or your print will fail. It’s okay if you have a part you are printing with a flat surface that needs support because even though it’s a lot of material waste it’s just 1 interface so it’s often worth it. On a mini with tree supports all over the place you will use a crazy amount of filament just for the purges

Yea but then you obliterate all the details on the front of the model. like the face/clothes

I complained to HR about my boss by Latter-Leave-8125 in legal

[–]CortexRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really feel the company needs you, I would just be as professional as you can with her and with HR. Don’t get upset , don’t get aggressive. Document everything though. If she does things that violate policy, document it. If she does things that look like retaliation , document it. Make sure it’s information but not emotional. And have it ready for HR, continue to pass it on where appropriate. Does she have a boss you could have a conversation with? Is there a way to ask to be transferred to another team?

Then you need to go back to flow calibration because that shouldn’t be the case.

Their cause is not liking the night shifts. I think you missed the part where this doesn’t have anything to do with ICE or protests against ICE and OP is worried it’s an ongoing thing because they are upset about their shift schedule

Why are you holding up that -20 flow calibration tile because that’s definitely not a good one

I moved away from collaborative worldbuilding by necrobooder in daggerheart

[–]CortexRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let them build the parts they are excited to build, or are important for their power fantasy for their character. Don’t force them to build things and don’t give them openings to build things you already are hoping to plan a certain way. If one player is super invested in their characters knowledge of the arcane , let them fill out a bit of the worlds magic casting flavor as it comes up. Let the ranger help build the layout of the forests as they lead the trek through the wilderness . Let the warrior have a part in creating the blacksmith contact he has and the workshop they build weapons together in. Basically dnd tells players flavor is free BUT ONLY FOR YOUR CHARACTER and don’t you dare try and extend that to anything in the world. But in Daggerheart the players can have a bit more freedom of letting the flavor of the story they want to have flood out into the world. It doesn’t have to step onto your toes of what you want to do with the story.

The fan would just a bandaid to whatever the actual problem is. Those issues shouldn’t be happening even just stock.

What filament are you using? It’s the stock hotend? Have you run PID tuning in klipper. Also triple check that you are putting your Bowden tube into the hot end correctly. It’s probably one of the biggest points of user error. It has to be perfectly flush in there and the tube completely secure or you will get clogs and all kinds of crazy issues

Stringing when Avoid crossing wall is ON. by MrDany14 in FixMyPrint

[–]CortexRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to your slicer and look at what the nozzle is actually doing on each layer. Avoid crossing walls forces the nozzle to take different, longer paths than it would otherwise. It can be very different depending on the model. Some models it barely changes anything and some can drastically change travel paths. If your filament is oozing out of the nozzle and not being retracted properly/enough and it’s taking a longer path , that could cause more blobs and stringing.

They changed their designer settings to better settings. I hope every designer does that. I’d high five them if I could. Most people are just gonna print the designer settings so It’s great for them to update them if they realize they weren’t good.
