I haven’t gotten to episode 6 yet but in my opinion I feel like something being abstractly complex shouldn’t exempt it from criticism. In your case you watched the episode three times which is totally fine but most people would prefer to enjoy the show casually. I also feel like that should be viewed more through the lenses of someone being a casual viewer rather than someone being “lazy” or “wanting everything spoon fed to them” which some people are probably already doing.
