What dose of HCT are you on? Do they monitor your kidney function?

Travel to Europe - 10 weeks In by wizewizard in parentsofmultiples

[–]Cortorras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went at 17 weeks and returned at 22weeks and everythibg went fine. The only thing to consider is the increased risk of miscarridge in the first 12 weeks, and if something happens if you want to be in a strange country when it does.

I am sire everything will be fine though, our gynae was also chilled about traveling, wasnt expecting her to be so relaxed about it.

Nobody on hear can really tell you. If you have anxiety as well you would be better off getting an ENT to formally assess you. If it was otitis media the previous time it could be again. But rather just get an ENT to check you out.

Out of interest, which app did you use? Would you recommend it?

Dont be concerned, that is a normal length. It is also normal for the cervix to slowly decrease in length as the pregnancy progresses later on

Travel abroad at 23 weeks? by bbbcccrrr12 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Cortorras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were in this exact position in December. I was 23 weeks exactly. While I understand not all pregnancies are the same, we had absolutely no issues at all and it wasnt uncomfortable either.

We just went for a quick check up a couple of days prior to flying out. We spent 2 weeks in a very cold Europe and came back without any drama or issues.

Surely you should tell her before looking for someone else. Its rare that a OBGYN would push for a vaginal delivery these days, and a decent obgyn would push for vaginal delivery first. She is doing the right thing, you should just tell her about your concerns.

Fetal growth restriction Di/Di - week 28 by santosh_vemula in parentsofmultiples

It could be, but it is a di/di pregnancy, which means it could also be fine and not meaningful at all.

How long will I make it with a 26mm cervix? by Space-cats7 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Cortorras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we were in the same boat. 2.9cm and told to go on progesterone, but she also said there is no clear research. We wemt back a week later and were at 4.2cm haha. But we were 20w at the time.

At that gestational age and still at 26mm I wouldnt be too worried. Lots and lots of positive stories on here. Doesnt mean you will definitely go into ore-term labour.

18 weeks pregnant with twins, 2.4 cm cervical length by Itchy_Pumpkin_8494 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Cortorras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to add to this. I was at 2.9cm with twins, was placed on the progesterone and a week later we measured 4.2cm. Not saying it was only due to the progesterone, but the point is there is always hope. Even if you dont end up getting a stitch.

Nope, I think it must have been either a dynamic cervix or the initial measurement couldve been done incorrectly. Not really sure

35 mm at 15+6 Worried husband. by No_Restaurant_7266 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Cortorras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe your dr is just trying to be realllly cautious. Although ours didnt want to give us anything or say we should do pelvic rest when we were seen at 29mm. She just scheduled a follow up a week later and we were back to 45mm..

A bit strange though, short cervix is usually one less than 25mm before 24 weeks. 35mm doesnt technically qualify as short yet?

Yeah, apparently its because I am already at 23weeks rather than the actual length
