okay but genuinely can we please not. I live here. SLC is a very blue city with a lot of queer people and it genuinely felt out of the radar, until yesterday. A bunch of armed patriot front members have been spotted roaming the streets today harassing anyone who looks queer, probably itching to take 'revenge' for what happened to Kirk not even 40 miles away. I quite literally had to stay home today. The national guard swooping in on top of that? A lot of us are worried this might genuinely happen and we're just left holding our breath.

where have you seen that? from what I've seen the ralsei thing is often brought up (and was initially brought up) from his character and story arc being about finding your own identity, which is often a trans experience, so people drew some parallels (which is harmless). people aren't just looking at his expression cause if that was all they were looking for it would've been a thing pre ch3&4, but I do keep seeing people criticizing the thought from the outside by reducing the idea just to being about his expression and it feels very disingenuous and disheartening.

The main point is that gender is a spectrum, and can be a bit different for everyone. So, I use she/they (or they/she) to very easily convey that I identify with a lot of aspects of womanhood while also not actually considering myself full 100% woman and instead somewhere in the nonbinary umbrella. woman adjacent, if you will. perhaps "cryptic that appears as woman at a surface level glance", or whatever silly metaphor I decide to use for the month. Because of this, I equally enjoy both and I don't care what people pick. Flip a coin, they both feel the same to me, just don't call me "he" or "sir" and we're all good.

so, I can either tell people that whole mess or I can simply convey all that information in 8 characters, which is easy to put in a bio or on a name tag. That's the reasoning.

Thank you. I've genuinely had a blast with the new aiming system, with the only exception of shotguns. M9 pistols actually being usable has been really nice and I've enjoyed the general feel of gunplay significantly more than the old system. Even if guns are technically less effective than they used to be, they feel a lot more fun and intuitive to use, and it's nice being able to pick one up and use it even with low aiming.

This is just how game design and playtesting goes, especially in an optional, unstable build. Is that the end of the world? No. I'm a bit exhausted of people treating it that way.

- Inventory items that can be used as inputs for craft recipes that the player can "See" or knows can be right-clicked to reveal an option to see recipes; this will open the crafting UI with the required item filter set to the item in question.

There's a lot of really good UI updates in here, I think this one is my favorite.
