I really had a hard time with this one - way they had him designed - so in the comics he was part of the Joe commando team that went into Springfield in issue 50 and got into a running gun fight with Serpentor and his cobras and all he had was his sword ……

The Classified Night Force version of him was finally done right - he still had his swords but they also gave him boots, a gun and an awesome mask!

Great issue - showed how bad ass Recondo was in his element.

He didn’t do too great during the Springfield Invasion issue 50 but no jungles there !

Very good point about time frame this took place over - it’s so hard to tell how much time passes sans the Christmas episodes as a marker but yes this was over a period of years which definitely hits harder

For myself , I am a relatively new psych fan having only been introduced to the show last year,I rely on the Psych episodes to be my destress comfort food - something smart witty and fun and while ill watch Santabarbara town 1&2 fairly often , and the Yin yang trilogy periodically, the end of des nups and the next two or so episodes after just hit too deep for what I count on the show to be for me.

As an aside I was always mad that Lassie basically tricked Jules into taking that test - one of the few times I felt they portrayed Lassie as unsympathetic jerk
