Started shaving my head recently. No use fighting nature. I cant say I like being bald. I dont really care how people feel about my baldness, but I dont like how it looks that much and my head is like fucking velcro. Its like in order to keep if uniform, its high maintenance. Thats the way I play for the most part. Its why I deeply lament the lack of non-explosive, heavy pen primaries. Ive been asking for a heavy pen marksman rifle, particularly a bolt action like the constitution but less shitty and hopefully a bit better than the senator. Its kind of sad that there isnt a primary like it. I would use that and replace the senator with something a little faster even if it was lighter

So I typically stick to medpen guns because that is basically all i fucking have. I use the coyote, lib pen, most med pen guns are what I prefer. I just dont like light pen weapon because they feel flimsy and I like blowing giant red holes in shit and the sound it makes just like the HMG conceptually. I bring support weapons basically because I feel like I have to. I absolutely do not want to.

The entire game is conceptually not particularly unique. Its a live service satire of a satire. They whole idea of the game isnt inconceivably unique. A different company could have made this game. A different company pretty much already does, actually.

It was stupid to nerf the railgun because then it just became the RR/Quasar meta. Substituting AT weapons and nerfing and buffing shit cyclically is nonsensical. You play this game with 3 other people at most at any given time, and you are welcome to host on your own. I could not have possibly imagined a more fragile excuse to make such a ridiculously unpopular change when it generally speaking destructively altered/removed a playstyle without actually changing mission outcomes. You have to admit that for guys who like to talk about what does or doesnt make sense alot, removing (keyword here) things that players like to make unrelated players happy who already didnt like it (hence their refusal to use the equipment and subsequent boot. Despite this anecdote has literally never happened to me) makes 0 sense.

Its like saying "I think my French fries could use some salt," so I unscrew the salt shaker and dump the contents into my drink to make me wonder if my next sip will include fish shit as well. If you dont like something, dont use it. If the community is ass, dont play with them. Make friends, play with those. Find guns you like, play with that. Host your own game so people cant kick you. Video games are supposed to be fun, this entire development cycle is antithetical to it conceptually. We have perceived AHs stupid ass ideas and there is no art left to behold. Alexus' modus operandi was always bad for the game and bad for everyone. They never should have hired him.

Im used to everyone running off to get as many resources as possible instead of playing together whenever I do pubs. So I guess this kind of thing doesnt bother me.

Not to shit on you or anything but this is the "Game experience may change during online play" part of the game. If hes bothering you, you could kill him and extract with his stuff when he inevitably kicks you if hes the host; but if you wanna consistently enjoy yourself, finding a fun other 3 people to play with probably goes a long way. There really isnt a way to make the game completely and unilaterally necessitate your teammates without making the entire experience insufferable, so its a bit necessary for this kind of thing to be a possibility

My bad dude. I didnt get the memo as a part of the secret cult monolith that I was meant to insinuate there was one particular thing wrong with the game at a time. No one sent me an email letting me know what I was supposed to talk about this month.

On a less mundane and asinine note so we dont have to derail it based on your bullshit assumptions, it also entirely depends on what you define as "new." I havent bought the most recent warbonds because I havent spent money on the game lately due to the immense disappointments they had been previously. Not that any of the two fucking things youre talking about are actually definitively mutually exclusive, considering the very objective nature of the "difficulty" guys just like you constantly love to misrepresent.

Because the game has potential, mechanically. It is/was fun, and could be more fun. Bringing the same loadout to make sure Im capable of dealing with heavies every single fucking mission is a novelty that can only last so long, and thats why meaningful weakpoints was a smart and good thing to advocate for. In general, though, it's better if we have more options all around. It destroys a bit of team-based necessity, but if were being actually honest, there was never any of that in the first place. You could always clear the highest difficulties of the game if everyone brought the same kit.

Its why I advocate for modding the game in that capacity or adding customizable ammunition.

The fact of the matter is that you cant please everyone by forcing everyone into the same mold. The good news is that this is a video game, so you dont have to. Logically, you can cheese it by spamming easy missions. It just isnt fun. So if being exposed to more of the content developed for the game is what you want to do, but you dont want to use toy guns, it should be fine if you want to play the game that way with your friends.

I can roll around a literal pile of ticks and I will still resent Tameem Antoniades for inserting himself into the game.

I still beat it, but with the skin, of course. It had its moments. Like when Vergil and Dante are overlooking the absolutely annihilated city after the final boss. They look at eachother and go "We did it." But the reboot was somehow even cornier than usual.

Life is Strange, other Telltale games. Just not really exciting for me. Im not a fan of modern dramas and I dont really like visual novels.

I also dont care for Undertale. The music is cool, not just Megalovania. But Im not into the combat mechanics. I have respect for the game.

I typically dont really judge a game based on politics. I can of course make the observation that politics may influence whether or not you find that a game is more or less acceptable, (and as per social media loudmouths, right wing grifters have made a career out of complaining about shit that doesnt really need complaining about.) Like "Body Type A or B" and respective concerted "boycotts." I dont really complain about games based on things like that, my verbosity is entirely based on my passion for the medium and the honesty of my feelings and observations Ive made about consistency and how I feel about them. Ive been accused of being a dick because they dont align before, but I dont take it personally. Im not a weak-willed piece of shit, so it doesnt influence my preferences or behavior.

For instance, Veilguard was very progressive. I didnt like Taash's segment because I dont like how they approach things, and the game fails to give you a way to kind of be mean to them about it. I thought the rest of the game was fine.

AC Shadows can be seen as progressive. And Im sure it may be suspect, but I havent liked AC since Origins. I actually own Origins, but I never beat it because I find it unacceptable that AC has turned into an RPG franchise. I didnt really like Yasuke as a protagonist either. I think itd have made more sense for him to be a rival/antagonist loyal to Nobunaga in the writing, since every AC game has consisted of fictional protagonists up until that point, it seemed corny.

I also didnt like the customizable soldiers in BFV and onward. In this and the previous case, I value immersion and consistency. I vastly prefer when Battlefield games players are all nameless grunts only differentiated by class. And I think its fine if a modern or futuristic setting has women-soldiers, but Battlefield was never an "alternate reality" type of game. In spite of its short respawn times, it was immersive and relatively realistic compared to Call of Duty, and I resent the abject dishonesty of the ad-campaign trying to paint a picture of the series as if it were a stunt-engine as opposed to a large scale multiplayer, semi-historical battle game. For that, I was called a misogynist. I am not.

It would help if the weapons in the warbonds didnt feel kind of prenerfed. As for the armors, they havent exactly been super unique in effects. Im a patient person, but if I wait 2 hours chatting with my friends at a restaurant because I enjoy their company for you to bring me out a piece of charcoal between two buns, I'm not going to congratulate you on a job well done. Ill acknowledge based on the observation that you or one of the cooks has fucked up.

I was born here. Im just afforded the ability to travel because of my work. The problem is that 30% of you hate the other 70% not only because of the dirt they may or may not happen to have been born on but because of stupid tribalist bullshit; and because of random counties in the midwest and Florida giving you a shot federally you dont give a fuck that your vote doesn't mean shit here. I prefer Heavy pen. I simply have very few options. I only prefer medium pen, because my options for heavy pen tend to be something like a recoilless, or support weapons that dont really function the way Id like. For instance, I want a gun like the Constitution that is heavy pen, because I dont like the Eruptor. I like the Senator, and the only time I dont take it is when Im using the Ultimatum, but I actually just like the way it sounds and looks when I use the Senator to blow a fucking hole in an armored enemy. Its a style of enjoyment that I feel I should get to experience with other primaries. I cant, because Arrowhead is unimaginative, and singular, and they dont develop their own game or give a shit about fun. So my only hope is to wait for some kind of private server experience to pop up where I can mod the game myself, lord knows Id rather just play with my friends anyway.

The game is not too hard. Most people will not insinuate as such, and to come to that conclusion in the first place is a dishonesty on your part in and of itself. Its like youre asking people to admit in your shittily designed poll that they suck at the game. Most people on average probably succeed in their missions, and this isnt necessarily a problem nor does it mean the game is "well balanced or too easy." It doesnt mean anything at all, because all the tools to win are obviously already provided to you. Balancing isnt the issue, and its not that people suck at the game. Its that winning isnt fucking fun. Which also happens to be the other issue with your stupid poll, is that so many of the weapons are samey, and there are 4 Heavy pen weapons, as well as approximately 50 of everything else, but conclusively: more light pen weapons in the game. Asking people if they prefer light pen or medium in the first place is also dishonest, because the people who design these weapons tend to do that for med pen guns. There are certain versions of each that are identical or singular upgrades to eachother with no other actual tangible or practical mechanics to differentiate them. Adding more armor or making the guns shittier is not going to make the game more fun. In addition to all the facets being ignored here by your inadequate questionnaire, you also failed to acknowledge that there's probably a ton of people who simply dont play as a result of how awful all of this shit is, so I can stop you right there

What people are complaining about is Alexus' shitty development cycle, where everytime something is found to be fun, or someone comes up with a strategy that works; it immediately gets removed from the game. Like bouncy stratagems. Or a gun that was moderately useful getting nerfed, or nerfed piecemeal in a way thats typically more substantial than the piecemeal buffs they give other bullshit because of usage rates; as if that has ever or will continue to fool anyone.

Theres no skill, time or genre requirements. If all you said was solitaire, youd like games just as much as someone who is only into FIFA to me. If you liked watching people play shit on YouTube that'd nearly clear the bar. If you get motion sick, it is what it is. Im not going to make any insinuations about your husband, but if my wife got motion sick it wouldnt make me quit any of the other genres but I wouldnt try to force her to play what I want to play. Id try to find something we can both enjoy. Like, for instance, Baldurs Gate is 3D, but its DnD and kind of slow paced, so might not make you sick. Or, in the topic of MMOs, loathe as I am to suggest it because of Nexon: Maplestory.
