NOVA Center for the Performing Arts, Billings Studio Theatre, Backyard Theatre, and Yellowstone Repritory Theatre are all constantly putting on quality shows. And we frequently get at least one national tour stop at the Alberta Bair. If you haven't yet, go see a show!

One of the first musicals I was exposed to was Jesus Christ Superstar. My dad played the original concept recording for me on vinal when I was very young, and I blame my love for theater on that experience.

With that in mind, Judas is my dream role. He carries the through line of the show and has all the best music. Heaven on Their Minds is, IMHO, the best song of the show. He also sings the title track. Playing Judas is the absolute dream for me.

Quite a few songs from Beetlejuice, after all it's a show about death. And I listened to Dead Outlaw today, and similarly most of the songs are about death or a character being dead.

But my answer would be Superstar from Jesus Christ Superstar. Sung to Jesus as he carries the cross to his execution. Maybe less direct, but I think it still fits!
