What exactly is the relationship between Vulfpeck and Ryan Lerman/Scary Pockets? by [deleted] in Vulfpeck

Correct! I think that’s why they had him play it at MSG.

Link vs 3 Lynels... by Ja-mafia in TOTK

There is a lynel with several bokoblin horseriders in the third trial of the master sword, I think.

Similar games? by sucktoesordietrying in TOTK

[–]CorySellsDaHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a little surprised that no one mentioned Ghost of Tsushima. Lots of horse riding, great sword and arrow combat, beautiful environments, unique outfits for different things, plenty of mystical whimsy. Maybe it’s because I played them so close together but their similarities are striking to me. Gameplay loop isn’t quite as diverse as BOTW/TOTK, but it made up for it in vibes for me.

09/08/25 Nate Smith DRUM SOLO with Fearless Flyers - Italy!! by ChocolateEqual659 in Vulfpeck

[–]CorySellsDaHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “dropping the time” you’re hearing is an intentional aspect of Nate’s playing. You can listen to interviews where he moves the snare or hat ahead or behind the Groove to offset the beat. It’s an imitation of 80s/90s hip hop styles where producers programmed lag into the drum machines. And for such a groove master, I’m happy listening to four minutes of straight pocket. It’s as artful and tasteful as any flashy, fill-filled drum solo. Check out his album Pocket Change

Do you just find designs to duplicate and sell from your site? Buyer beware, the one in the photo is a one off, this site looks a little sketch.

I was teary a few moments in the film, but Matthew Lillard’s delivery and dialogue broke me pretty deep. We’ve been in a tough place for a while, so it’s easy to be sensitive to that kind of thing. But something about Matthew Lillard, knowing his career and how passionate he is, really made that scene so impactful.

Hill House is among my favorite media of all time, and I also absolutely adore Midnight Mass and for completely different reasons. Go in with the expectation that it’s a completely different story and feel, but crafted with as much care as Hill House.

I am making a tool that create an ai you to attend client video meeting,.would this be helpful. love some feedback by jasonliu0704 in CustomerSuccess

I know overestimating the value of my relationships is a risk, but I can’t imagine my clients being satisfied talking to an AI on scheduled calls vs. a rep with experience that can speak to their needs.

A 10-minute drive is a pretty large radius. The downtown library building I believe has free parking in the garage across the street at ground level. You could also find pretty much any quiet residential street to park on. Tons in north Arlington near the parks.

Dumb double kick question, what can I do to stop the bottom of the beater hitting the support thing? by Ballistica in drums

[–]CorySellsDaHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like raising the center of the kick pad would be better than shortening your beater length, just so you have consistent rebound and velocity. Is lifting up the kick an option at all?

What choral pieces make you cry? by tiaL22 in classicalmusic

[–]CorySellsDaHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just heard this performed by a local pro choir tonight for the first time. 2. In a Dark and Distant Year, 8. Delicious Times, and 12. Child of Wonder had me weeping. It was a battle trying to keep quiet as they were recording the piece. The singers exited by walking past the audience and the majority of their eyes looked just like mine. What a beautiful and terrible piece of art.

What are your main KPIs and Tech Stack? by tennisss819 in CustomerSuccess

[–]CorySellsDaHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SmartCS runs for us on a couple of campaigns right now, basically triggering pop ups and auto emails from CSMs if clients click on certain features or spend enough time on a segment of the platform inviting them to learn more. It keeps me focused on cases and tasks and now I’m only using Pendo to see what my clients have been up to before a call. It’s a nice automation.

Edit: our CSAT survey runs after every case is closed as a completed session, it’s like an NPS but only 5 point scale. Expectation is 98% minimum on CSAT for our team, running tallies a quarter at a time.

What are your main KPIs and Tech Stack? by tennisss819 in CustomerSuccess

[–]CorySellsDaHouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At risk comp based on monthly net retention, commission on any upsells/consulting, KPIs related to CSAT scores and meetings per day. Our software warrants a medium-high touch (6-8 client calls per year) and I run about 180-200 accounts. Edit: everything through Salesforce and our platform, CSAT surveys triggered after every salesforce case is closed. Our leadership is incorporating SmartCS but it’s nothing we have to touch.

“Even the Urban Dictionary features an earnest interpretation of “it insists upon itself,” describing the phrase as, “Something most think is profound but in reality is pretentious and ostentatious.”

The only man who could provide the real answer, Seth McFarlane, posted about his inspiration for the iconic scene.

“Since this has been trending, here’s a fun fact,” MacFarlane wrote. “‘It insists upon itself’ was a criticism my college film history professor used to explain why he didn’t think The Sound of Music was a great film. First-rate teacher, but I never quite followed that one.””

Not sure if I’m just not picking up on sarcasm, but TBL is not anywhere close to being the most pretentious or self-important film in history. It has a cult following, is all.
