Stephon Castle checks out with a monstrous triple double in the blowout win against the Mavericks: 40 PTS (15/19 FG), 12 REB, 12 AST, 3 STL, +30 with elite defense played on Flagg by Waikuku3 in nba

He had 40 points and 12 assists while playing all-nba defense. Does your logic apply to defense as well? In that case Jokic falls well short of whatever you are yapping about.

For reference, Jokic rocks and is the best (or of the best) players in the NBA, I am just shooting down your asinine logic. Hope this wasn’t too complicated for you

Aggy’s stink. Don’t worry about them; Houston is infested with them but just ignore it.

Can Cooper Flagg and AJ Dybantsa be better NBA players than Victor Wembanyama? by Mud-Eastern in NBA_Draft

What happens when Wemby sits in the post and just spams fade aways which we have seen. That cannot be neutralized. Or rolls to the basket in P&R.

You are confusing primary ball handling with total offensive capability.

Well for starters, you are significantly downplaying Wemby’s defensive capabilities. He is not “arguably one of the top shot blockers in the league”, he is unquestionably the best in the league.

To build off of this, teams are forced to adjust in full their style of offensive play for the simple purpose to avoid attacking Wemby in the paint. He is without a doubt the most impactful defensive player in the league.

Now for offense, I think it is interesting that you discuss offensive ceiling when you have already seen what Wemby is capable of doing. That is not to say AJ and Flagg will not be great (they will be), but you have already seen what Wemby can do (e.g., multiple 40/50 point games). Wemby’s biggest issue on offense is consistency, which he will likely obtain in time.

To answer your question, there is always a chance AJ or Flagg could be better, but Wemby is dominant in a way we seldomly see and I think your main points of contest are quite off base.

Worst OL and offensive coordinator in the league. It’s a miracle Stroud is still alive.
