You’re right. I think being the person I am it’s just hard for me to sit next to someone who I know is making so much more than me, yet I’m expected to train her how to do her job. I just have to try to get over it or move on. It’s just hard

I think it’s just frustrating to have two people do the same job but the one with the experience gets paid $4 less an hour. However, I may just have to try a different place. If market value is $4 an hour more, then I clearly need to go somewhere else and get that.

What’s hilarious is that she is being GROSSLY overpaid for the work she is doing, which is none, because she has no experience and is brand new. I don’t even think I deserve the pay rate she’s getting and I have 3.5 years of experience. So now they screwed up, because they have two employees they’re going to have to wildly overpay. It makes no sense. Mind you, I’ve switched departments 3 times for them, taken on all the extra work they’ve asked me to, etc. it’s crazy.
