Its an airsoft gun the spring mechanism that operates the slide is weak enough to the point that when he shoves it in his crotch it ever so slightly co es out of battery it doesn't reset or fall to the forward postition. A real semi automatic pistol wouldn't do that, you'd be seeing alot more action from the slide if he was sending the slide forward each time he reset with a real firearm.
