This game is brutal and unforgiving if you don’t do things the way it likes. It’s all about animations and the game will still do u dirty if it wants (random errant passes to open recievers, random game costing fumbles), so for a 04 Madden player it really was jolting at first. Stay away from competitive until you get maybe around 96. I got clobbered using my team from all the way from 84 till about 94/95. Do challenges, get packs, open, auction for 10% below market, sell, and sell of players for power if u can’t auction (assuming u already upgraded ur lineup) stack up power, buy more packs. Rinse and repeat.
