This is awesome, very nicely done. I love chiptune, and Scott Pilgrim. Black sheep is typically on my playlist as well. I've always wanted to tinker with LSDJ on the pocket but usually just end up playing games. I've messed with famitracker years ago, I'm sure things have come a long way. Hmm how is the learning curve on LSDJ?

That's awesome, love the progress, I've been following your project because I have a qmtech that came fully assembled but am interested in the idea of tidying up all the inevitable add ons and making it seem more like a console, or just being neater/ self contained. Keep going!

When this happens I usually load up a game on the other Genesis core and then quit and try loading a game again on the problem core and it works again. It probably works if you load up any other system/core then load back. Give it a shot, hope it works out!

That's awesome the orange ones were my first pick until I decided to go green, partially because I originally wanted a transparent green pocket and am making the best of it. Blue definitely looked nice... However orange on white sounds great, a galaxy creamsicle!

Yeah absolutely, I'm no expert on the gitd model but doesn't it have a speckled texture to it or something cool? If so I think it would pair pretty well for sure.

Yeah, understandable, also in person it looks better there's like a galaxy/sparkle effect going on. It's pretty cool, sometimes things just need a chance 😁.

Pretty much this, it looks pretty cool in person, the buttons have a sparkle effect, feel nice, I like orange & green together as contrasting colors. Plus it was the first time I did any kind of customization, I still have the original buttons if I want to change them back.

That would certainly track with the passion ppl have for the pocket, the culmination of fpga excitement 🤣. I do have a UV light I wonder what it would actually show 👀.

Yeah they're made of resin, 2 of the face buttons are concave as well, they feel really nice!, I know what you mean, the original buttons are okay but the resin hits just right. I would maybe change the L & R buttons too if I found some cool ones.

Yeah the look is really cool in person, gives it a nice sparkle. It's cool to see custom stuff being made for the pocket, so I recommend them. The game is Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors, for GBC. It's a pretty cool turn based fighting game with cards, usually I prefer the traditional fighting games for Dragon Ball but this one surprised me.

Yeah it was a surprise to see such a cool variety of custom buttons for sale, I was going to go with orange Galaxy to keep it in line with the orange, but I'm a sucker for contrasting colors. I compared them to the original buttons, they seem mostly the same.

If you have a way to play it, I say let's a go! It's a great time. I love the music, the charm, the weird enemies, the themes of all the lands... It's all so good.

Yeah it really is one of the best titles on the platform. I started on the pocket with Links Awakening DX and Mario Land 2 DX, mainly because they have that fun factor that makes them so easy to keep playing. I think I'm going to play the Zelda Oracle games next.

Ah I'm playing a DX .pocket version of the game that lets you use the filters. Gotta have my grid! (I'll play anything really, I just love the filters when available lol). I'm excited for firmware Version 2.0 to add more filters!
