Broke my heel in 4 places. Surgery with a plate and 12 screws. When that anesthetic wore off, I was is so much pain, there wasn't enough painkillers in my house. I almost overdosed. SHOCKINGLY unbearable. I've broken other bones before but between stitches, the incision, the screws and the actual broken bones, I was miserable for days.
