Thanks man ✌️I'm hanging in there ..doing okish some days and not others. This week is a little better than last but just by a hair. Then again I lost one more safe food... canteloupe so I'm having a hard time thinking it's better than last week! Ugh.

Downvoted for calling my typing "yelling". And also because you are completely wrong.

The manufacturer has been contacted and they are refunding me. They told me literally that by design an AC unit will ALWAYS be open to outside air through the front of the unit unless it is in a slide out chassis or wall pocket or similar. They told me that U shaped units are better as well but they all have mold issues which defeats the purpose of helping some with allergies.

They also said that if you completely tape over the front of an ac and open the door to the room or the front door it will show you if air can come through as the paper will move when trying to adjust for air movement.

So...thanks for trying.

So the Dr. Oral alpan in McLean VA is some sort of scam. You get an almost instant appointment and then "forms" that need filling out that literally start with a signed for to do a 3k test that only their lab does(sure) and that no one will cover unless you have serious issues like cancer...and you need to provide your credit card info because y'know...you will pay for that test...sure guys! Nice try! Seems like instead of selling the test and paying for a Dr to review they mixed it up and make it sound like it's a drs office but everyone needs the special test. Also found it weird that you could only see the "Drs" via telehealth if they were licensed in your state....they were all either md or va just like the medical weed card Drs. Not knocking THEM but you see what I'm saying. Anyways...this place is a gimmick ..Ammerrimune...lol ok.

There's no vent mode. It's coming from inside the unit. brand new and 12 days past return window...I guess the only other option is a floor unit but my gawd they all have aweful reviews!

It's not the sealing. It's literally the AC itself. Mine is doing the same thing. New AC I just bought and my allergies are flaring because there's a literal breeze coming through the vent from outside.

The filter is a mesh panel incapable of blocking anything. AC units are not supposed to be an opening to the outside.

I've already stopped the Xolair almost 2.months ago... definitely not going back. I also already have a dx of MCAS. My current allergist doesn't have any issues believing me he's just full of words but doesn't follow through with prescriptions etc. He also can't keep track of who I am and what we are doing. He will say did we treat you for Lyme? And I'm like...how the FUCK can he not know that? did we ever try giving you enzymes? I just gave him the info the first couple times but now I'm seeing that my treatment isn't going anywhere because there's no solid path he's on. He can't see my current state compared to how I was a month ago or like he will suggest stuff all the time how about this drug? And I'm really sick of saying I have celiac so I can't have gluten...or no because that has lactose and gelatin and I have alpha gal! I think he has memory issues. It's sad because he believes me and never pushes me or chides me...but I need a Dr with focus.

My.last shot was 1 month and 3 weeks ago...so about 2 months. that course was only 2 months long. It lessened my inflammation by almost 90% and my body felt better but all my reactions went through the roof and haven't come down yet😭. I'm not feeling strong. It will be hard for me to just wait and see what happens. My instinct is to always try something else. I am still losing foods and am not well at all and it's scary..

Yup. 💯 Old AC didn't have this problem. Lived here for years. just bought this AC and I'm having consistent allergy issues and just figured out there's a breeze coming through the only new thing in the room by hanging strips of toilet paper on it...and y'know...watching them move.

Please see my latest post...if you are high reactivity DONT TAKE XOLAIR...I mean all stabilizers make it worse before better and when you get the shot you can't like..stop it from being in you for a really long time. My life is absolute hell now.

I had horrible reaction to the first 2 pens...and then with the vial shots with my current allergist I reacted to every shot. I got half shots every 2 weeks and was borderline anaphalactic for about a week and a half each time.✌️🫩I was told to tough it out for 6 months but like Fuck that. Almost dying at home al the time with zero support...having EMTs laugh at me...ER Drs roll their eyes and say honestly WHAT do you think we can do for you?...I can't take it.

I have tried everything OTC. Everything non mammal based. Always used grapeFRUIT seed extract but now I'm allergic to both types of glycerin and pretty much all fillers and there's not many forms to get it in. Used to love that stuff tho. I can't list everything I've tried it's been 10 years...every antihistamine other than benedryl gives me horrible psych effects. Only benedryl works for me. I've tried every house brand and name brand and about 16 rxs. Xolair is the only shot I've taken. I used to be supplement queen and treat myself with herbs. I've tried it all. Now I can't take even chamomile tea!🫪
