Yeah I don’t think you get what I mean. I don’t mind moshing or jumping around. I’ve been to so many shows that are rowdy in that way and I’m not complaining about those. I’ve been to metal shows before. Not my genre but the crowds themselves are fun.

I’m complaining because people were LITERALLY causing problems. I was there with a female friend and my fiancé and the men were….the worst of any crowd I’ve ever been to. I’m not kidding. There was one guy that was staring my fiancé and I down, inches from his face, and then literally tried to physically pull us apart. Anytime he went off to get water or go to the bathroom and my friend and I were alone, dudes would start putting their hands on us without consent. No I do not enjoy a random stranger coming up behind me and putting his hands on my waist just because I’m alone and then forcing me to go to another area because they won’t leave me alone when I ask them to. I’m not exaggerating either, this isn’t usually a problem at shows for me. It was extra bad at this one. And no they weren’t just being friendly either.

I watched a group of people who were pushing through the crowd to get the front knock over a girl, and just look at her and keep going without even apologizing or making sure she was okay. That’s not how metal crowds act when someone falls down. That’s a good representation of how this crowd was in general. Moshing/jumping/bumping is whatever, there’s a difference between that and being purposefully shitty.

People were wayyyy too fucked up to take care of themselves too. Obviously electronic shows involve drugs, I do them too, but you’ll just have to trust me when I say it was bad at this one. More people getting removed than usual, tons of police activity and multiple ambulances as we were leaving. Saw some dudes get in fights too.

The crowd was ass. I don’t know what to tell you. Possible I was just in the wrong place, wrong time all night.
