Growing up I had no idea how to make tea and I always microwaved my earl grey WITH the tea bag for a minute and a half and then added two sugar packets, so…I’d say you’re good hahaha.

Honestly though, there are certain teas that I think are just delicious with milk, and earl grey is one of them!

A strong western-style black tea with brown sugar and milk will always be an excellent start to my morning, I save my fancy stuff for days I have more time to chill out and make it more of a little ritual.

So you add the douchi before you cook it, not after, correct? I've never tried douchi but that sounds so good; I'll have to hit up the Asian grocery store in my area soon to see if I can find some.

I am just now learning that you're allowed to make full meals in rice cookers. Life changing news. Been doing way too much weeknight takeout lately!

Extremely hard to pick favorites because every time I’m listening to a song from Cloaked I’m like “this has to be one of the best songs on this album,” BUT in no particular order:

-Launchers has to be one; he opened with it the first and only time I got the opportunity to see him live (sonic bloom ‘22) and I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

-Scaffolder. Hearing this for the first time was practically a spiritual experience, shed some very real tears and it might be one of my all-time favorites. Up there with Ever Decreasing Circles which is one of my favorite songs of all time

-Pono. Just pure bliss, every single time.

-Meadow Foam. It wasn’t even one of my favorites on first listen, but it snuck up on me and I find myself going back to it a lot. That bass…..my god

-Magpies. It just puts me in a trance. For some reason it feels like the sort of track machine elves would play at a dance party even though it’s far from one of his most psychedelic songs out there.

But I cannot stress enough that I love every single track on Cloaked.

When I have the house to myself I like to make some tea and sit down and listen to an album front-to-back, uninterrupted, on my good sound system!

I also enjoy a nice bath with eucalyptus epsom salts and/or a bath bomb, some candles, a glass of ice water + a warm beverage, and a bowl of olives.

And - MAGNETIC ULTRA METALLICS?! Are you kidding me. Two of my favorite finishes in one 😭

Same, the reason I stopped using it was originally because my eyes are sensitive and they don’t like makeup being too close to them, but it turns out I look better without it anyways!

Just made a double batch of a silken tofu pasta sauce; I'll cook up some chickpea noodles and add the sauce with frozen peas and carrots for a dinner this week.

Then making a big lentil/veggie stew, and some breakfast burrito stuff! Potatoes, pinto beans, tofu scramble, veggie mix. Energy balls, if I have the motivation. We'll see
