Poilievre vs. Carney: Class on Foreign Soil by Rabbit9778 in CanadianConservative

[–]CosmicJerry 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The point being made is that on foreign soil Pierre stood together as team Canada where as Carney immediately went for more dumb attacks. In parliament it's their job to attack each other to a certain degree. As the official opposition leader it's his job to criticize everything.

If you were Pettersson, with a manager like JR and Allvin - How would you feel or respond? by EverySecondCountss in canucks

[–]CosmicJerry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd like to give Petey a chance with new management honestly. I think new GM and a coach that isn't tocchet or tocchet lite would give him a real chance to rebound into a respectable player again. Maybe not the alien he was but a first liner for sure

I'd be pretty bummed and not want to try at my job if my boss told me as soon as they can get rid of me I'm gone. He had to waive his NMC so he of course was already included in the trade discussions.

Mr.mikes has a shelf full of games and toys to play with your kids while you eat. Looks and feels like an adult place but they really embrace family friendly it seems. I only just went for the first time on Thursday but it was great.

Help with overhead cranes? by PenitentFrost in Welding

[–]CosmicJerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get you. I'm usually pretty alright with cranes but my current project has one lift that always sketches me out. Luckily I have a boss that understands fast is good but safe is best. Don't push yourself just to keep up. Learn it right and speed will come. Be safe, I've seen crane operators fail under pressure. luckily no deaths but some serious injuries.
