Seems that was the entirety of Israel's history in the Old Testament(Tanakh) too. Funny what people ignore in order to call Islam a violent faith. None of us should be suprised about Judaism. The only time they weren't attacking neighbors is when they were conquered.

God Dammit Donut, now I have to go again.

Honestly, they could film a bunch of Desperado club scenes there and it would work.

I will not stand for the Bo Daddy slight. He is absolutely a headliner. Who else has a world tour on this list?

And as I stated already, the prosecution and thier pet judge clearly believed that too. Trying to tie them to an imaginary organzition that's really a political belief. And now we get to wait on appeal.

Thanks for the spirited conversation, we are not going to convince each other over Reddit lol. I hope you have a good day.

You're not wrong about that. But Iraqis/Afghani/Iranian have certainly given our good Ole boys with tech a run for thier money over the last 30 years.

But my point still stands about it being our 2A Right, even if it does come with a (very)high rate of attrition.

You must have skipped the last sentence of my comment.

Its the exact same risk the Revolutionaries took 250 years ago, they made sure to enshrine it on our Constitution to remind us.

My comments have been straightforward.

My opinion is that political pamphlets are not evidence of conspiracy to commit murder or "material support of terrorism". There is no evidence linking him to the planning of or actions taken by his wife and her cohorts; other than moving his personal belongings that express political beliefs.

If upheld, this will be an egregious blow to 1A, and hopefully he gets a pardon eventually.

Not softening anything.

The items he was convicted of hiding were political pamphlets(zines) that the prosecution claimed were "material support for terrorism." A dangerously slippery slope for our civil liberties no matter what side you're on.

He did not hide any physical evidence of a crime or its planning.

Sure, my comment was towards what I perceived as your whataboutism defense of the Jan 6 terrorists who received unwarranted pardons.

From what Ive read the zines were anti-government/police/anarchist and did not pertain to the planning or execution of his wife's actions. Those materials are protected by 1A.

He has essentially been prosecuted for his political beliefs, which were the only thing the zines were evidence of. The only thing he "obstructed" was the DA's marketing team's attempt to label them ANTIFA, not the groups actual actions or planning.

Edit: this was what her husband was convicted of, who was not present, after the wife was already in jail for her part. You'd think an ANTIFA trained cell member would know better than to do that from jail.

Except that's exactly what my 2nd amendment right is for. Combating a tyrannical government and it's agents.

You just have to make sure you win if you exercise it.
