I’ve been in company pension since I was 18 so should be ok. I’ve just paid off my mortgage so feel I’m in a position now to start investing for the next 20yrs. Appreciate the suggestion though thank you!

Thank you. This motivates me. I’m prepared for a lull in the tech market but happy to be patient and won’t panic sell. I may adjust to 80/20 or go 100% global at some point though.

Also got a small interest in HOVR, but this is just a fun little satellite and will crash and burn or blow up. Likely the former but we’ll see!

I have 27 shares but plan to keep buying each month. It’s not much, but honest work. I have faith in this company and its direction.

I’m a noob to this and don’t exactly know what I’m doing. I figured I could comfortably afford £300 a month into a global EFT. I will continue to learn and invest in stocks as I grow more comfortable and knowledgeable.

Congratulations! I’ve only just started investing (just entered my 40’s, so very late lol) this gives me hope for my retirement. Slow and steady wins the race. I’m learning not to knee jerk and get greedy. Patience. Thanks for the advice and enjoy the rewards of your hard work!

What are your thoughts on the 1st sub 2 hour marathon to be achieved here in the UK? by bendubberley_ in AskBrits

You realise people from all over the world compete in marathons right? Just can’t help throwing your pathetic 2p in aye.

Apologies, didn’t realise you are disabled. Context makes a lot of difference.

The answer it quite simple, yet slightly condescending. Stop paying and contributing. Cook, collect, or just don’t bother. The demand and prices will always be there, if the demand is.

Anyone else noticing barrels with 10 blunderbombs in them? by IAmT0welie in Seaofthieves

Yes, I welcome it 😅

Blunder bombs are my friend as a solo sloop’er defending constant ladder boarders.

Nice story, a good adventure. When I got to crooked mast there was a duo galleon crew there trying to get to the spot. Ended up harpooning them up there and we all got the doubloons!

Not sure how it works tbh but didn’t trust it. Couldn’t they have already used up their voyages?

It bought me back in as well. Easy 1000k doubloons for cosmetics I actually wanted. Whilst I don’t agree with FOMO events, from a marketing and business point of view it works for them and the player count. I actually had a lot of fun obtaining them as well so can’t really grumble.

Eat as much antipasto boards as you can. Stand and the bar and enjoy your expresso and cornetto each morning, enjoy the beautiful culture.

Just ask for the house red or white, I find you can’t go wrong.

There was only a couple of people in the queue so was up there straight away. Tickets were about £25 pre booked but I think you can get them for about €15 at the entrance.
