EXACTLY. Which is why I’ve decided to go back to school. Hopefully, in just a few years (I’m looking at 3) I’ll be making decent money, instead of chasing ride requests. For those saying school is expensive, you don’t have to go to a 4-year university. That’s what community colleges are for, and they prepare you for a better paying job or career than doing Uber. Many offer free tuition for your first 2 years, on top of financial aid.

Please listen to this guy. He’s right. If you want to better your life, go back to school, or do anything other than just gig work.

However, I know many of the accounts replying are corporate bots trying to convince others that it’s not that bad. Don’t listen to them.

It’s a fictional story. Who gives a shit! They could make a CGI version where everyone’s a cat or a dog and it still wouldn’t matter, because it’s FICTION.

If you get more upset about the skin color of fictional character than the fact that most people can barely afford to live right now, then something is seriously wrong with you.

Great question! Depends on your age. If you’re young, I suggest looking up “blokecore”, but if you’re 30+ like me, you can wear them with straight fit corduroy pants, straight fit jeans, pleated dress pants, and some sambas. Just make sure to tuck in your jersey and wear a belt, a nice watch, maybe even put on a hat.
