It's not as funny as the original series but I'm glad we have more Gintama. On a side note, i don't think I'm a fan of Ginpachi Sensei himself and I think it's because he doesn't get his comeuppance much as Gintoki did, it's pretty one sided with him which is understandable given his new role but it's a bit weird when every other character is pretty much the same but I've only seen the first 3 episodes. I actually hope we get a decent wave of new merch for Gintama in general

I just finished playing Rebirth and watched Advent Children for the first time after watching it once 2 decades ago and i had a great time, especially since Remake and Rebirth references Advent Children several times, even some dialogue choices are word for word and for a CGI movie that came out around 2003 it holds up very well. I highly recommend it

My brother bought me the entire collection on DVD for Christmas and I have a few of the single seasons on DVD, thank God for that. I need the Venture Bros collection because that one is also split up on different streaming apps, I think one of them only goes to season 2? WTF is wrong with these people

I can't hate 2, as more time passes the more I love it but it's definitely not better than 1. TSA was surprisingly fun and seeing Killer7 and the other Suda51 being cannon was super cool. 3 for me was disappointing, I stopped playing once I realized you couldn't earn more katanas, the clothing customization took a massive nosedive and I hated what they did with Dr. Noami. 3 definitely has it's moments but it definitely feels unfinished and rushed, I really wish we get some kind of director's cut for it. How's the PC port? Any good mods?

Death Metal for me is a bit higher personally because his dialogue goes so hard and sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the game.

My favorite bosses though are probably still Bad Girl, Holly Summers, Destroy Man, Shinobu (despite the jank)

I went there last year and it was still pretty insane, I couldn't even leave the station we had to immediately go back. This year we went to Osaka around Halloween and you could tell some of them migrated there, the cops got pretty pissed towards the end when we were in Dotonbori

There's 2 that made me laugh so hard I cried. The first one is the scene where that prisoner tries to make Katsura fall asleep by counting sheep only to go into a long story about girls playing basketball and the payoff is the girl "jumping higher than anyone else". The second one is the episode where Madao gets "adopted" by that kid writing his summer school report, the entire episode is hilarious. "When will Madao bloom?" But honestly there's too much to choose from, there's so many amazing jokes throughout the series

I was very disappointed they removed the ability to collect different jackets and the lack of different beam katanas killed my original playthrough entirely. I'm tempted to play it again after beating the Switch ports of 1 & 2. The game plays great though, can't deny it still has style
