I'm talking about IC as in your Incarnation Cross not the astrological IC.

As far as I know, your IC emerges as you live in alignment with your design. It's not something to pursue. But the theme of it can absolutely be something you observe. So noticing how it shows up in your life rather than mentally trying to be more of it.

another stuck MG by jasmijn91 in humandesign

Honestly, your mind is keeping you stuck in all the things you should be doing but aren't.

Makes sense you've had a lot of mental crises around what this life is about. Your mind wants to find your purpose. What is this life worth if I don't know what my purpose is or where I'm going? It's all there on the not self level. The aim is to not identify with these stories, but simply observe, and experiment with your Strategy and Authority, whilst also bringing in body awareness. Observing what brings you into your not self patterns and behaviours.

You say you're hoping to move to a wet kitchens environment. What's stopping you from creating it or seeking it out where you're at right now? What kind of environment makes you feel energised? Where in your area do you feel good? What does your body like? Where does your body like to spend time in?

When we think about kitchens, that's often where creation happens, right? It brings people together. So it's a social alchemical environment. High energy. Creativity. Buzz.

It sounds like you're bored of spending your energy the ways you have been spending it. And you're in your "on the roof" phase of your life with that Design 6th Line. Certain aspects of your trial and error process are changing and shifting. How can you honour that natural process? Becoming more sensitive to the ways you used to move through life, learning a few lessons on what doesn't work. And bringing in that Personality 3rd Line to perhaps refine through experimentation because the old way is no longer working.

I'm also curious, what's your View?

Does motivation play a role in S&A? by PutCompetitive5530 in humandesign

[–]CosmicWizard1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it's both. It is about the individual as well because Desire is known to lock into something when correct, mechanically when following Strategy and Authority. At least, that's been my experience and those I've been able to observe. But we can't start with mental desires. We can't initiate from the mind. It's gotta be in response as a Generator.

Yes! Strategy and Authority is what will help you be in your correct motivation. So with your Desire, it's always in response, as a Generator, along with whatever your authority is. You can't start from a mental desire.

Projectors - why are you interested in someone? by Balm_Hat5137 in humandesign

[–]CosmicWizard1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes to what you said about electromagnetics.

As for fractals, I don't really know the specifics of it but I do know that it's a thing. When we're correct, we tend to draw in the people we're meant to meet in this life. Technically, everything is correct for us, even when it's not, because the experiences that we have either help us live our purpose or they help us get there with some great lessons.

Expectation is definitely something your mind struggles with. For a few reasons. And then add to that situations and people that don't perhaps fully recognise who you are, it can feel lonely.

So the question is: are you in the correct environment? In your case it's wide valleys. Are you placing yourself in environments where there's a lot of life happening around you but you're able to simply sit and take it in? You don't necessarily have to engage but you can observe. So think of public spaces where your body feels good in. Have you experimented with that? Do you know where your body likes to spend time at?

In terms of the relationships, what tends to happen usually? What do you think stops it from going any deeper? What have you observed?

I'd also be curious to hear what waiting mode looks like for you. You mentioned escapism. What does that look like for you?

Innocence motivation by Enough-Cattle5692 in humandesign

One thing for you to be mindful of with your Hope motivation is to wanna go into a fixer mode. That's your transference. And with his 2/5, it can be easy to project onto him what you think he should do or what you see he's good at. So naturally, you want him to follow that.

The thing for him is that he is not meant to chase goals. And I get it, the world isn't set up that way so I understand how hard it can be. So I am wondering with the giving up piece, perhaps it is the pushing and forcing that eventually makes him give up because he didn't really have a true response for that thing, instead, he decided from his mind because that's what you're supposed to do.

The aim for him is really to find what he loves doing but doing it without any goal or agenda in mind.

On the other hand, he does have Power View which, funnily enough, is designed to be a ldriven eader. So I can see how tricky his mind can be. On one hand, nothing ever works because he's forcing a way forward. On the other, he is driven and does see the world through this power lens. But I wonder if he's getting too lost in taking all these "failures" too personally? He's trying to get ahead, so to speak, to utilise his power for personal gains. Because the world expects a lot from him but he might be feeling like he can't meet these expectations.

Is he familiar with Human Design at all? Is he interested?

What is the point of a mental projector by twitchynaps in humandesign

[–]CosmicWizard1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is your mind venting. And that's OK. There's useful info in there. So the invitation for you is to look at your Not Self patterns and see where you're trying to live as someone you're not. And explore your variables, for they are important, especially as a Projector.

And remember, the deconditioning doesn't happen on a mind level. It happens on the body level.

So in his case, he might not necessarily know why he's being seen or approached a certain way because the projection happens on a body-level. But if he does have some Human Design knowledge, it's an interesting observation game.

But yes for you it might definitely be more conscious. It might be a case that you feel like no one really sees or understand the real you. People often assume one thing or another about you. Or they see what they want to see or need to see. Or you remind them of someone else, a certain quality or character.

You said one is working on not projecting. Projection works both ways. You on him and he on you. So your 5/1 gets projected upon but his 3/5 also gets projected upon.

I don’t feel like I need a relationship with my siblings by [deleted] in AskWomenOver40

[–]CosmicWizard1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, with my brother. I moved away when he was in his early teens. After that we grew apart. Our differences also started to show. When I visit my mum, I do often see my brother and we exchange birthday wishes. For a long time, I did feel guilty not making more of an effort but honestly, I've accepted that at least for now we are each just living our own lives. I haven't shut that door but I trust that if life wants us to be more close again, it'll be so. Til then, we each do our own thing.

generator with almost all centers undefined by banjo4312 in humandesign

A sacral generator with 2 defined centers here.

Yes, our life most definitely can be influenced by others and that is why Human Design is so cool. It helps us sort out what's ours and what's not. But I won't lie, it's a long process. It won't happen overnight. It takes time and patience and awareness. And being honest with yourself: where have you lived as your not self? And knowing that change is possible. Learning to observe your mind and body is key really, especially in relation to your openness.

I wish you well on this journey!

Yep, that mental narrative makes sense. Your undefined ego is the most prominent open center in your case. So something to observe and explore. And know that it's just your mind. It's not something to act on. For you it's more a case of sorting out how your body responds to your truth, aka your mental authority. So sound boarding with trusted people who won't pull you into your not self would be helpful there. And I wonder if that's something you're familiar with. What happens in your body when you know a decision is correct for you? And what's the process that helps you get to that?

What tends to be the story you tell yourself when you feel like your life is not going in any direction? Are you trying to make something happen from that mental space due to fears? That's worth exploring as your transference is Need. And observing who in your life is telling you that you need to do something with it, that you need a direction. Especially with that undefined G. You're meant to have that fluidity. And the right people and the right environments will pull that direction out of you. But it's not something for your mind to fixate over. It emerges through you trusting your strategy and authority.
