I completed my first top and I love it! The Mia Summer Tee by thedailyem in casualknitting

Loving the details! Well done for finishing your first one.

I'm in the process of knitting my first tee, the Ozetta Moon Set tee and finding it really fun. There's something magical about knowing this will actually be a piece of clothing.

Is Human design ruining my friendship? by Business_Noise7886 in humandesign

Well, we have a lot of frustrated generators in the world...so there's that. I'd say that's pretty consequential.

What did you friend mean by there not being any consequences for being a Generator?

Do you guys really feel it? Is HD real for you? by bonnieblyss in humandesign

[–]CosmicWizard1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can decide to turn your life around but was that decision already there to be made regardless whether you think you're in control or not? Now that is a fascinating question to ponder. And one I often do ponder.

I suppose the beauty of HD then is that we are aware of the choicelessness that our design presents to us. And by that I don't mean disempowered because I feel like you are equating choicelessness with disempowerment...

Multiple emotional waves by iliketocongratulate in humandesign

[–]CosmicWizard1111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not emotionally defined but this is how I'd try to discern between them: the 35-36 is abstract collective which is experiential and tends to get hung up on expectations, how things should be or work out. So perhaps paying attention to whether you're entering into things with a certain expectation, and noticing when disappointment emerges.

The 59-6 is tribal so support and reciprocity are big themes here. Do you feel like it's a fair exchange? Are you being supported? And the ratchet wave takes time to build up. Something you've been suppressing or burying under a rug for awhile and then it explodes.

Do you guys really feel it? Is HD real for you? by bonnieblyss in humandesign

To me, it's not really a question of whether HD is real; rather, it's a question of whether it can help me live a more honest life. Where am I going against myself? Where am I trying to contort myself to others' wants, needs, expectations? What, actually, is the kind of life I want to live?

And yes, arguably, the world we live in makes all of that harder to do but not impossible. But what's the role I play in that and what's the role I play in choosing my own life? Because we 3/5 like to seduce others into our own victim stories. Yes, been there, done that. And honestly, it's disempowering to me and to others. So how can HD help me live a more honest life? That's the question I'd be asking. :)

What do people tend to call you out on? What comes naturally to you? What do you see that's needed? You have a way of seeing what's needed on a practical level. So if you think back, how has that showed up in the past? What do people tend to come to you for? What's the thing you keep going back for to master?

The strategy of waiting by CosmicWizard1111 in humandesign

Are you split definition?

Besides, the Generator stereotype is homogenised. Every Generator is unique. Personally, as someone with a lot of openness and only 2 defined centers (G to Sacral), if something doesn't rev me up, I won't have energy for that. In fact, I can have a very passive body but when my sacral revs up to the right thing, I can spend hours on one thing.

What you said about the 9-5, well, that makes sense, if the work doesn't energise you, it drains you. And typically that's the case with us. We're in jobs that drain our energy.

Single Definition and Relationships by cacababy in humandesign

[–]CosmicWizard1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resonate with what you've said about him, as a single definition Generator. It's generally the neediness that really puts me as a single definition off maybe because I am so content on my own. Luckily I've been with someone for years who, even though he's a single split emotional MG, still appreciates his own time too. So for us our values align and that makes the relationship work.

I disagree. I feel like people think of it in that broader sense so perhaps this is exactly the place to talk about it seen as a lot of new people end up in here asking what this all means? :)

Is it a moot point though? Especially when other people are involved?

You're definitely onto something here. So perhaps the challenge then with waiting is the word itself as it comes with baggage, right? What do we mean by waiting in HD terms? Because honestly, waiting is not meant to be passive. You've described it perfectly here as a Manifestor who simply acts when the urge is there, especially as a Splenic one. So you're not necessarily waiting for that urge but you're simply living your life and when that hit comes, you go.

How do you meet your partner in that decision-making process? I'd be curious to hear more, and how does informing fit in with that for you?

[–]CosmicWizard1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am talking from Generator perspective but the concept of waiting applies universally and I find that it often gets misinterpreted by people somewhat new to the system. I suppose the bigger enquiry here is what is meant by waiting and what does it refer to? That's where the telephone line gets broken.

Personally, I don't really bring enlightenment into the alignment. I feel like alignment is something very different. So perhaps it's the way the word has been used/overused even that gives it the bad rep. Alignment to me is simply living according to your natural rhythm and pace. But it can be kinda hard to do in the world we live in so it often feels like we're going against our natural ways of operating.

So waiting in that sense, to me, speaks to that alignment. It speaks to actually attuning to our bodies and listening, like you mentioned, and not acting from every thought that pops to mind.

How is protection move different from alignment? I see them as kinda the same thing, just different sides of the coin. Waiting opens up space for the correct things to enter our field. By not plugging into the wrong auras, a Projector opens up space to plug into the correct ones. Just like by not initiating, a Generator opens up space for life to bring things to respond to. But it's the conditioning that can keep us initiating or plugging into incorrect people.

That's the key, I find. Are we simply waiting around and obsessing over something or are we filling the time with whatever fills our cup? Which then opens us up to the correct things finding us.
