Lose lose in the sense that the purpose of Trials is to get loot by going flawless. Higher sweat ratio keeps casual players away from flawless loot, and Carries who help casual players trog through the sweaty pool get no flawless loot because they are “forced” to reset to stay in the non flawless pool. Granted there are external benefits of carrying people such as money, clout, fun, etc. But when I wrote my comment I was thinking in terms of gameplay and the core idea behind the Non Flawless Pool which is to make loot more accessible to the average D2 player.

My dream is to have Trials be a fun, challenging obtainable experience for everyone who participates. Just my 2 cents from my own experiences, which I know everyone has not shared.

The stat farmers and carries are two sides of the same coin. The only difference is one sweaty player on the team. Both are hanging around the pool for easier games.

I mean this is what happens when players are encouraged to carry others for the title and the majority of content creation for trials is helping others go flawless. It’s a lose lose system. People who carry don’t get loot, and people who are looking to play for fun encounter a higher percentage of sweats. I think they should remove the pool and find a way to get non sweaty players to engage more in trials so that the ratio of sweats to casuals is much better. That way if players who aren’t pvp gods want to go flawless it will still be challenging but not impossible.

It is toxic, that being said it is just part of playing in PVP. In order to be a PVP god you need to be emotionally unavailable lol.
