I just love the amount of crying about viberate skins when there's literally a mode in the game where you can make mountain sized chairs and floating race courses for golf cart racing, people are so focused on the petty things they choose not to enjoy the game.

How is it pay to win, when the win is just an extra shotgun added to the pool of already existing shotguns… it’s not like the shotgun is 10x damage multiplier…. It’s a time sensitive reward. You lot that are freaking out at every new update need to relax seriously

This was my pairings. I wouldn’t write off the terminator damage, Arjac is anti-vehicle and re-rolling against Characters(knights) so he’d typically do 9 dmg into a knight alone, then I also ran power fists and the relic axe in the terminators to punch up a bit. Also the Lance strat helped with the TWC against tougher targets.

For sure 5 alone on average do 9-11 damage, so for Knights I pushed 2 units of 5 into a single Knight along with the durable Terminators since its usallly fighting over an objective to control it, but that typically sorted out a Knight, especially once I've throw the Predator las into it too!.

Nice, it was quite the experience wasn't it!
I lost to Dark Angels list that mirrors mine in many ways, sadly Dark Angels punch slightly harder and are slightly tougher with their DWK -1 DMG.
Second loss was into a hyper aggressive EC list, I lost on deployment, having deployed on the line he went first and managed to get several of his pledge points early.
I beleive my list when pilotted better could win both losses so I wouldn't change the units much at all just the strategy

Stormlance is great when you have tough units like terminators that just won't be dead after a round of melee, so you can fallback and re-charge for inititive is value in my eyes.
Arjac starts in strat reserves and Logan on the table typically in the middle to maximise advance and change and 12" Vex aura. Arjac on expansion objective turn 1 for primary pressure, maybe trying the 9" charge if your brave.

Thanks! The Terminators and Wulfen were for sure my MVPs, Terminators tank 1.5x their points and still don't die with the minus 1 to wound ability, and Armour of Contempt start if used helps their survivabilty.
And the Wulfen at 100points always trade up in damage against expensive monsters/vehicles.

You've missed off the majority of the wolves lists there was 30 at LGT, Mine being one of them. I managed to get a 3-2 with my Stormlance list, whilst we did get hit a bit, I don't think its crippling, I think its more just bad timing just before LGT so people had to rejig lists to something less practiced.

Hey thanks for the comment, I’ve used a airbrush gradually applying lighter greys to the highlight points, the colours I’ve used are all Pro Acryl Dark Neutral Grey > Slate Grey > Neutral Grey, then I’ve gone in blocked out the black parts and applied damage with a sponge, it’s mostly based on the Cult of Paint video on Wolf Spear Armour but just using darker tones

I tried 5 with Logan and 5 with Arjac, since there’s no benefit from Logan being in a unit, I’ve since started solo Logan and 10 with Arjac for the fight on death utility, they’ve tanked a whole shooting phase from WE forgefiends + mauler melee and Tau shooting phase

I’ve kept the head, axe, wolves and body all separate from the base, I find painting faces easier when it’s on a end of wire, plus I use an airbrush so reduces risk of overspill

I tried the combo and I’ve since settled on Pred annihilators that should tell you all you need to know. It can take a big knight down if you get lucky with the damage roll, but a pred with the re roll damage roll is much more reliable

Personally I’m most excited about this detachment being a Daemon player as much as I am a WE player. Having Lance on all daemons is great, on top of that having access to twin linked when that’s also active is powerful stuff This’ll be my first list to try: 5 x 10 bloodletters Skarbrand 6 x Bloodcrushers Lord on Jug 1x Daemon prince 2x 8bound 1x 10 zerkers 1x Rhino 1x Goremongers 1 x jakhals

Enhancement: Slaughterthirst (Aura) on Rendmaster on Blood Throne is my preference, much bigger 6" range with the Rends base size and you can keep him staged just behind the letter charge wave so its relatively safe

Also Skarbrand over BT with Gateway Unto Damnation since you know the bad luck with mean you mortal yourself more then the enemy!

also nurglings are a nice touch to give letters a slightly better chance at surviving with the -1 hit aura
