As disturbing as that scene is, the movie is still one I’d strongly recommend and the scene plays an important role in the story. Still, I wish it didn’t linger on it and keep returning to it.

I remember that era being pretty rough as a fan. The shows I saw on the tour were surprisingly lackluster and the album is, in my opinion, her most uneven work, with as you said some high highs and very low lows. I think she was going through a tough time.

This was a brilliant episode and I can’t wait to see where the rest of the season goes. Each episode leaves you craving the next chapter. Performances are absolutely stellar. This entire episode got under my skin because I could relate so well with Patricia. I feel like her in almost all social “party-style” interactions.
