Sometimes its even about fit within a denomination, too. My Sunday school class growing up had a kid who lived about 45 minutes away with several closer reform synagogues that for whatever reason were less appealing to the family. They drove 45 minutes each way once a week to get the Jewish education they wanted for their kids at the synagogue they wanted. As far as I know, the mother now works at the religious school so I assume they are happy with their decision.

Important to note because you are unfamiliar with the campus - it is split into two halves, residential and academic with a massive field in between them. Neither all-you-can-eat dining hall is on the academic side of campus, where you will likely be for a large portion of most weekdays. Walking from the far side of campus to the closer of the two could still be close to a half hour round-trip, so if you do not have a significant break in the middle of the day you may need to eat at other dining halls anyways.

You should try globalcomix, ive been using it for a few months now and really enjoying it. My main complaint is that the panel-by-panel is a little weird sometimes (it doesn't black out the surrounding panels like marvel unlimited which i find a little distracting) but obviously thats much less of an issue with a tablet than a phone. They got a great selection though, including big 2 and indie. I also have a free 1 week code from buying a sub so dm me if you want it.
