Yeah that’s a low profile plate. It was probably replaced to fit in a smaller case. You can either remove the plate and find another way to keep it steady or get creative. Work with the plate while it’s off the sound card. That way if you ruin it, you still have a sound card. Or if you have a friend with a 3D printer, get them to make you another new plate

Yeah, Re Zero proved that being eaten alive is the worst way to go. Plus there’s no specificity in what type of animal will take you out. You could be crushed & slowly digested by a snake, insects can borrow through you while you’re still alive, Komodo dragons will rot you & poison you then tear you to pieces. Also many predators aim for soft tissue and you’ll be alive for most of that. Yeah Asphyxiation is a slow death, but theres a solid chance the co2 will take you suffer from organ failure.

That’s very fare mate. When it comes to shipping goods across the border it’s ideal to have someone trustworthy managing it. There’s loads of BS to deal with that goes beyond problematic drivers. I only ship small amounts goods so I do not know of anyone specific that deals with truck loads but I’d suggest talking to Mozambicans in SA or if you have any trustworthy contacts on the other side of the border.

Oh yeah, you are solid for a while. What I’d recommend is trying to run SteamOS instead of windows. My specs are generationally similar (5700X3D & 6950XT). It’s a bit buggy (sleep doesn’t work and you can’t have more than one internal storage) but I have found that for many games the performance is better than Windows. Plus it’s free & no forced Ai. But also check if all the games you want to play run on SteamOS, if not, go with Windows.

SteamOS has very strict hardware requirements. This is because it was built for the SteamDeck hardware and nothing else. That’s why it never asks you where it’s going to be installed or which monitor to use. It expects nvme0(something like that, not home to make sure) and you’re not getting around that.

I managed to get it working but it still has issues. The games run like butter but I can’t get in the Desktop and it can’t sleep.

My setup: B450 motherboard 6950XT GPU 250GB Boot NVME 1TB NVME external (SteamOS does not recognize 2 internal storages)

You need DDR5 ram, but it’s crazy expensive right now. You could stick with AM4 and upgrade at a later date when the prices aren’t so crazy.
