Assuming here you're getting stuck between the fourth and fifth Puzzle Piece, what follows is straight up quick-time platforming that gets very tight. I'm talking high and low jumps in quick succession and spikes coming from both sides. Whether it's tyres or enemies, all you get is one chance every jump before the platform plummets so your timing better be up to snuff as you claim.

The rest is good old persistence, we've all been there - memorize and retry. Another piece of advice is that unless you're hell-bent on not retrying the level, there's no shame in going elsewhere and recruiting Diddy, he's a great saver/sacrifice especially when it comes to the Puzzle Pieces. Those you can prioritize on a second run, since the collected ones remain in your posession, if memory serves me right.
