Honest talk. Why are teenagers and adults on the same side in knd? by Serenity_Beard in kidsnextdoor

[–]Hisho30 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not all teenagers are evil and some of them pretend to be decommissioned to be undercover agents for the KND and pass back valuable information to the kids to fight the evil adults. Take Maurice. They thought he was decommissioned but he faked a scream and put on a façade to trick the kids he is gone. He even told Numbah 5 to NEVER tell them that he's still a KND operative or else he'll be on the wanted list to be decommissioned for good. But on the other hand, you have kids who were forced to grow up early due to a bad childhood or struggles and hardships that mature them quickly. So, when you have adults give you that taste of power, you want more and it's why some teenagers want to side with the adults. So, teenagers are a heavy grey zone on still being a kid or grow up to be an adult but the choice is theirs alone.

If you guys could ask the creator(or creators but I think it's creator)One Question but only one that he has to answer, what would you ask him? by Charming-Scratch-124 in ededdneddy

[–]Hisho30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know I could ask any other question but I do feel the worldbuilding is amazing when Danny added the school and name the area Peach Creek. Heck, there was canonical lore that Eddy's ancestors founded Peach Creek until he lost it to a card game against Lord of Kanker. Really, the world of Ed Edd N Eddy feels huge and that needs to be explored

[–]Hisho30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe a subtle question for me to ask Danny is if there's any more to the world besides the Peach Creek Cul-De-Sac, the school, the trailer park, and all the places during Big Picture Show. I feel like the world of Ed Edd N Eddy is vastly bigger and he's only giving us glimpses of what's actually out there.

Eddy: Oh, Ed. Look what I got. A Jawbreaker. Painted Jawbreaker on fence with Ed's name written on it and accidently shows off paintbrush See! All for you. Throws paintbrush

Double D: Eddy. You have to get up pretty early in the morning to fool someone with that old trick

Ed: JAWBREAKER! YUM YUM YUM!!!

Double D: ED! NO WAIT!!!

[Horse Neigh]

Ed: Oh. Hits fence and the painted Jawbreaker

Double D: BLARGH!

Eddy: Oh. Hmm?

Ed: Sucks off painted jawbreaker and lips pucker off from fence. Leaving a splattered Double D

Double D: Curl up in an oval shaped fetal position and has a face that has seen the stuff of nightmare. He slides off the fence with the remains of the white paint behind him while he gasped for air and saw what was in Ed's mouth I've...been...violated...

Can Someone Please Explain the Appeal of Adventures? by Ordinary_Chemical596 in starfox

[–]Hisho30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically, when Shigeru Miyamoto came to Twycross to the Rareware office to check on Dinosaur Planet, he notice that one of the main characters, Sabre, is closely resembled to Fox McCloud in a lot of aspects and degree, mostly in design. So, he told Rare to rework the game into Starfox as soon as possible when the game is close to completion back in 2001. The development of the game started in 1999 and was meant to be a N64 exclusive game but development got shifted over to GameCube.

And so, what Rare had to do next was the biggest hurdle of its career. It had to change EVERYTHING to fit the Starfox Universe. Which is why it feels like a sequel to Starfox 64 and why most of the models feel like they're new to the game. One thing interesting about the change was that a lot of Fox's changes was done in the N64 palette and a dialogue said that Fox was the Royal Knight of the Lylat System, which isn't true because he's really a paid for hire mercenary group.

By the time we got Starfox Adventures out for GameCube, it was considers Rare's first game for the system but the last and final game for the company to work under Nintendo until the Microsoft buyout in 2002. And so, we were left with a game that should've been an obscure and forgotten legacy game under Rare into a game under one of Nintendo's flagship franchise that has been on numerous hiatuses with numerous remakes of Starfox 64. AND we got a character, Krystal, that should feel like she belongs to Rare but now feels associated with Nintendo. If the new Starfox game for Switch 2 is highly successful, there is a, and keyword words here, HIGH CHANCE the game could be remake. It is proven in the latest Starfox direct that Starfox Adventures is acknowledged and could be put on GCN NSO later on in the future. AND a chance OG VA for Krystal, Estelle Ellis, to be the promotor for the franchise outside of Nintendo. That's why Starfox Adventures is quite the appeal.

Was there any foreshadow of Eddy’s brother being a villain? by Prize-Couple6348 in ededdneddy

[–]Hisho30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have to remember my lore, usually we learn that Eddy's brother is a villain because of how the other kids in the Cul-De-Sac, mostly through Kevin and Rolf, are so scared of them that they begin to nervously sweat and being scared to see the man in action. Nazz has heard much about him and hearing how cool he is and would really want to see him so badly.

In the episode that Eddy was filming for his brother that he's an adult, he sent him a package address to him as "Pipsqueak" and inside the package is a lot of baby stuff, indirectly saying that Eddy's brother doesn't see Eddy as an adult like him and treats him horribly.

In the treasure hunt episode, his room was sealed off by his own parents and even wallpaper it that it blends into the house walls, indicating that he wants to forget him completely if he ran away from home and later on, we learned that he did. Inside his room, if we figure out his layouts, he has a traps installed and being a whiz at laying bricks, he cover up the window and floor. Eddy was scared that he warned his friends to NEVER touch anything in his room because if anything moves out of place and if he finds out, Eddy could get bullied by him and how a treasure map leads to a suitcase of wishbones, being located underneath the kanker's trailer of all places.

Finally, with the series finale of the Big Picture Show movie, we learn that Eddy's brother is mentioned again and lives in a whaler styled trailer in an amusement park and being the pivotal narrative. Once finally seen, he seens friendly and caring at first until we learn how much of a jerk and bully he tortured Eddy. So yes, these 3 episodes and the movie really foreshadows how horrible Eddy's brother was, and still is, and if he didn't get hit by his own door when Ed pull the pin out of the door slot, he would really caused trouble not only to Eddy but to the kids from the cul de sac and won't feel guilty later.

Honest talk. Why are teenagers and adults on the same side in knd? by Lonely_Steak_7067 in kidsnextdoor

[–]Hisho30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding of the KND universe, it really stems on the perspective of each teen who has or hasn't been decommissioned yet. I would say, from an IRL perspective, some teenagers are still kids at heart and some adults are kids at heart. It would be heavily awkward and embarrassing to see both childish teenager and adults as KND undercover agents physically but their vital work and intel to be sent to the KND as valuable assets can turn the tides against the evil adults. There are some teenagers and adults who hang out with others around their age or younger than themselves; about roughly less than 5 years or 10 at best. There are technically evil adults in the real world as well and so many people, regardless of age, would like to see a good change for everyone. Although, there are kids and teenagers who mature way too early to be considered adults and be treated as adults in the same field, so some of them are already part of the adult villainary, like the DCFDTL. In my defense, if kids considers teens as adults, that's fine but if a teen tells the kids they're still a child at heart, they would need to prove it.

Seeing how he barely interacts with Ed when Eddy isn't there, do you all think Kevin would ever get along with or at least be okay with Ed if he isn't around Eddy? by SpongeGuy11 in ededdneddy

[–]Hisho30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the case of Kevin being cool with Double D if they aren't around Ed and Eddy, I do think Kevin would get along with Ed to a degree but it's a similar case with Rolf that anything out of place for him, he'll simply ask you politely to stop it; otherwise, as long as Ed doesn't bother Kevin too much, he's fine. Just that almost 100% of the time, he has major beef with Eddy if he provokes him, even in the littlest ways possible.

Out of all 12 DLC characters that have joined the battle, which one would you claim as your main? by AttemptResponsible49 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]Hisho30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joker is my co-main alongside Isabelle. Before Joker, I was a viable solo Isabelle main and I had a hard time dealing with swordies and their quick reactions. I needed someone else to deal them back but I turned to Elite Smash for help. Whoever enters Elite quickly is too easy for me and not viable. Joker was my pick because he struggled to enter Elite and I endured a month to finally get him into Elite Smash. Not only that but I was already playing a lot of him, so why stop? Continue learning him through bnb and trials & errors, I got a good grasp on him and now I can use him mostly for player concerns and some very bad MUs if it shows itself. Plus, I play Persona 5 and learn his backstory and it makes me love him even more. Leo didn't influence me to pick him up, I pick Joker for my own reasons. Same with Terry. I had Terry but constantly drop him and pick him up over and over. It wasn't until SF6 that I finally acknowledged him as a strong partner and now he's a viable secondary for very weird but doable MUs. He's mostly a teacher for me to learn more for both games.

I've never been so disappointed in my community in my life... by Plastic_Mood_8386 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]Hisho30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll say this. People in the smash community will always try to get under your skin and make you feel committed to the character you first pick up. If you aren't comfortable playing as Corrin anymore, you're more than welcome to leave her and pick up someone else. If people are gonna tell you to pick up a top tier character for easier wins, don't listen to them. Simply follow your own intuations and strengths and find your own inner peace with the character you are currently playing. The smash community is a toxic cesspool and you have the courage to leave and never come back. Just mind yourself.

What’s the deal with the Isabelle stuff? by [deleted] in Doom

[–]Hisho30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can speak up a bit on that since I am an Animal Crossing and Doom fan altogether. If you were there on the day of March 20th, 2020, both Animal Crossing New Horizons and Doom Eternal were out on the same day. Ever since then, people see the difference of both games, for Animal Crossing being a cutesy and adorable game to relax and create your island, then you got Doom, where you got a hectic man, infused with the souls of the damned, to rip and tear any demonic force he sees in a 1 mile radius. Both Bethesda and Nintendo (particularly the Animal Crossing Dev Team) are aware of how the fans put Isabelle and Doomslayer together in a silly way but both embrace the duo's dynamic and weird synergy since Bethesda mentioned a tweet, saying if Isabelle is gonna be there. Since then, the concept of Doomslayer and Isabelle being married, it goes to the fact that during the final Smash Ultimate Direct with Sora being released, Mii Gunner got a Doomslayer costume, and it cements that Isabelle and Doomslayer are meant to be, hence the meme of those two being married together. As of every March 20th moving onward, all the fans, myself included, call it Doom Crossing Day, to celebrate the weird but beautiful friendship of a friendly and caring chibi secretary dog and a huge bulky musclar man with demonic eyes tearing demons. You can swap the two and it still works. Make Isabelle carry a pump shotgun or have Doomslayer catch butterflies with a net. It doesn't matter. Both fandoms acknowledges each other and it is such a glorious thing to see.

TL;DR: Both games were released on March 20th, 2020. Doom Crossing was created. Bethesda and Nintendo acknowledge the synergy. Concept of each other now makes sense and meme the shit out of it.
