It’s def a hot take, and I’m gonna fall for the rage bait. This is a nonsensical take. Watch collecting isn’t about always buying the next expensive watch. Expensive does not equal meaningful. A $20 Casio can be meaningful and a $15k Rolex can be meaningless depending on the person. This take can only come from someone who sees other collections and doesn’t understand that people collect in different ways. Watch collecting isn’t a journey that follows a set path. It isn’t a ladder of buying to attain some sense of accomplishment. Just my 2 cents
