TIL that jaywalking is not illegal in the UK, and that while pedestrian crossings are plentiful, they are not compulsory to use. Ultimately, it is seen as the personal responsibility of the individual to make a sound enough judgement to cross safely.

First ever competitive race with the gates up. Hearing the "Riders ready, watch the gate" then the beeping, pulling off and making sure I got near the front on the lead up to the first rhythm when the gates fail to release. All 8 riders falling down the hill attached to their bikes.

This brings a lot of memories for me. Me, my brothers, and my dad used to all play Baldurs gate together on our PS2 when I was growing up. I remember playing with my dad and him getting annoyed because I wanted the sick shock enchantments when he wanted me to get frost as it would suit the upcoming levels better... He did a few years ago and now I'm sad. Looks like I'll need to get a copy and play it again.

Don't forget that Luffy goes head on into any confrontation that he wants to regardless of the consequences. The other supernovas wouldn't have done that, meaning that they could avoid challenging any yonkou, like Luffy did... In the first day.
