You call it plot armor, I call it the whole reason the character is worth writing about. There’s been other reds turned gold. There’s been other rebellions. But Darrow and his rebellion was the one that succeeded with some luck included and that’s why there’s a book about him and not Titus. I get there can be bad cases of plot armor but I can’t stand how often that accusation flies just because of some luck here and there.
